Sayyed Imamshah - great composer of many of our Holy Ginans
Sayyed Imamshah who was the son of our Great Pir Hasan Kabirdin He was born in A.H 856 on 27th day of Rabi al-Thani in the Punjab city of Uucch. His original name was Sayyed Imamudin. He was also known as Sayyed Abdulrahim. Sayyed Imamshah converted many Hindus to Ismailism. At the age of 15, Sayyed Imamshah's father Pir Hasan Kabirdin passed away. At that time Sayyed Imamshah was in a distant place soreading the message of sirat-al-mustaqeem through rendition of Ginans and imparting knowledge of Ismaili faith to various communities all over the sub-continent of India.

The Dermot Weld-trained filly claimed the first Group 1 of the Irish Champions Festival which takes places today at Leopardstown and on Sunday at The Curragh.
Ridden by Chris Hayes, the Aga Khan-bred and owned three-year-old was a length and a quarter winner over surprise England-trained runner-up Rogue Millennium, ridden by Danny Tudhope for trainer Tom Clover, as she notched up her fourth Group 1 victory.

Among the Muslim community, a 'waqf' is a permanent dedication (property) to God. Members of different sects within the community have contended that even those trusts that were created and meant for charitable functions have been listed as 'waqf' by the Board.

The founder of the "Focused on nature" association will head for the Tonga islands in the next few weeks to photograph whales and raise new funding for his organisation.
