Visits of Turkish President & UN Secretary General-a whiff of fresh air with AKRSP

Each visit is like a whiff of fresh air, since it addresses different issues and brings laurels for Pakistan. The Royal visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to Pakistan in October 2019 raised focus on climate change but equally importantly, it showcased that local communities have tremendous potential to plan and manage their own development, once they are organized and provided access to necessary skills and capital.

Prince Rahim and Princess Salwa Aga Khan visit Pakistan 2018-11-29
Posted December 12th, 2018 by librarian-hd29 November 2018 - Prince Rahim and Princess Salwa Aga Khan travelled to Pakistan for a six-day working visit in late October 2018, which included stops in several districts of Gilgit-Baltistan as well as in Chitral district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, along with the capital city of Islamabad and the southern city of Karachi. During their visit, Prince Rahim and Princess Salwa examined approaches to poverty alleviation and development, and visited a number of AKDN institutions and projects aimed at improving quality of life.

The 60th Imamat anniversary of His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan,spiritual leader of Ismaili community will be held in Gilgit Baltistan on Tuesday.
Functions in this connection will be held in Jamaat Khana's at morning.
Special prayer will also be offered for development and prosperity of the country on that occasion.
