During the meeting, the DIG condemned the Sujawal police's slackness and assured them that a team had been constituted to investigate the matter. He warned that those found involved in the extrajudicial act would face stern departmental action.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif invited on Monday the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) to increase its investment in Pakistan’s tourism sector.

He said this during a meeting with Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development Executive Committee Chairperson Prince Rahim Aha Khan, who called on him along with a five-member delegation, in Islamabad.

The prime minister also congratulated Prince Rahim Aga Khan on receiving the Nishan-e-Pakistan Award – the country’s highest civilian honour – from the government.

KARACHI, FEB 28 (DNA) – Aga Khan University has received a$1.5 million grant from Wellcome Leap, a leading global health innovation organization. This significant grant will support a project that seeks to transform the treatment of β-Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), which have plagued South Asia, particularly Pakistan. These diseases have not only caused significant suffering but also imposed a heavy economic burden on society. This competitive grant provides a significant boost to the development of innovative gene therapies.

The Aga Khan University (AKU) has won the Award of Excellence for Disruptive Education of the prestigious and competitive Zairi International Award in Higher Education, 2022.

Thirtyone countries participated at the MENA Higher Education Leadership Forum in Dubai, UAE and thehonour to their organization has been received by Prof. Tashmin Khamis and Ms. Azra Naseem.
