Higher Secondary school Groundbreaking ceremony was held at Buzund at Torkho area by Aga Khan Education Services for Pakistan (AKESP).

Earlier ground breaking ceremonies were held for two School, Booni, and, Mastuj in district upper Chitral. The expansion will increase access to quality education and extend the school from high to higher secondary, moving (AKESP) towards its goal of providing seamless transition to students from Kindergarten to 12th Grade (K-12).

Climate change is a global problem, but solutions and adaptation measures have to be locally defined and implemented. The reason that UCA teaches Earth and Environmental Sciences is that climate change will affect Central Asia as it will the rest of the planet. This sad reality will have several outcomes for the students of UCA. First of all, it will affect your daily lives and your families. It will force changes to the way you grow and distribute food; to your approach towards resources; and to the way you will build houses in the future.

AKIPRESS.COM - The graduation ceremonies at the two campuses at Naryn and Khorog on June 18 brought together parents, faculty and many distinguished guests who came to congratulate the students for their academic achievements, and promises of successes yet to come.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed for the implementation of power transmission project to Badakhshan province and construction of Sheewa Dam, the Office of the President said Tuesday.

According to a statement released by ARG Palace, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed during a ceremony which was organized in Char Chinar Palace today.

CHITRAL: Groundbreaking ceremonies were held for three new state-of-the-art buildings being added to the Aga Khan Schools in Booni, Mastuj and Torkhow in Upper Chitral.

Aga Khan Council for Pakistan President Hafiz Sher Ali presided over the ceremonies as the chief guest while Wing Commander Chitral Scout Colonel Shahzad Nadeem was the guest of honour at Mastuj and Rai Afzal Ali was the guest of honour at Booni.

The word girbhavali has two letters, garbh (uterus) and vaali (vaanni) means narratives of the uterus or embryology, relating to gestation, uterus, fetus etc. In other words, it is a science of development of an embryo from fertilization of the ovum to the fetus stage.

Shab-i Barat or Lail at-Bara’a (night of quittance) is a non-Koranic term, but a very popular feast of the Muslims. It is celebrated on the night of the full moon of 14th Sha’ban, and the people devote it to the commemoration of the dead. It is considered to be the night when the “writing conferring immunity is written in heaven” or, more generally, the night during which “the fates of the coming year are destined in heaven.”

The Swiss Ambassador to Pakistan and Afghanistan Bénédict de Cerjat visited the academic and health care facilities at the Aga Khan University in Karachi.

During the conversations with AKU President Dr Sulaiman Shahabuddin and other University leaders, he talked about Switzerland’s strong bilateral relationships with Pakistan.
