Prince Hussain to wed Fareen on September 29, 2019
Posted September 22nd, 2019 by librarian-hdHazar Imam informed the Global Jamat in a message dated September 9, 2019 that Prince Hussain would wed Fareen on September 29, 2019 and that the Nikah would be recited in Geneva.
In December 2018, Hazar Imam had informed the International Jamats, that Prince Hussain had been engaged to Miss Elizabeth Hoag who had adopted the name of Fareen upon embracing Islam.
This wedding has brought immense joy to Hazar Imam and His family and He wished the Jamats to join in this celebration

Prince Amyn receives Medal of Honor from the City in Porto 2019-07-09
Posted July 15th, 2019 by librarian-hdOn 9 July in Porto, Prince Amyn Aga Khan was awarded the City’s Medal of Honour by the Mayor of the Porto Municipality, Rui Moreira who presided over a ceremony at the Casa do Roseiral, in the Gardens of the Palácio de Cristal. The medal was presented in honour of "a great patron of the arts." Prince Amyn Aga Khan has a close relationship with several museums, including the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum in New York.

Posted December 25th, 2020 by librarian-hdPrince Hussain Aga Khan held a beautiful speech on the main stage during EAT Stockholm Food Forum 2019 to bring awareness to the endangered species living in our oceans. Since the age of five, he has been a fan of the ocean and everything connected to it.
At 14, Prince Hussain Aga Khan started scuba diving, and by exploring the deep wide blue he developed a keen interest in conservation. He started traveling to the tropics frequently at secondary school and began taking photographs of fauna and flora on a trip to the Brazilian Amazon in 1996.

An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar hailed the new facilities at the Curragh as the track’s official opening ceremony took place during racing on Sunday.
The centrepiece of the redeveloped racecourse is the Aga Khan Stand, which can cater for up to 6,000 people over four levels, and the Aga Khan himself was on hand to take part in the celebrations.

The message said "It is with special happiness that I am writing to inform My Jamat that my beloved second son, Prince Hussain, is engaged to be married to Miss Elizabeth Hoag, who has adopted the name Fareen upon embracing Islam. It is expected that they will marry in the spring of 2019.

In attendance also were dignitaries from all Commonwealth countries and the British Royal Family. Hazar Imam's family also attended including Princess Zahra, Prince Rahim and Princess Salwa.
The Commonwealth represents 53 countries and almost 2.4 billion people and 2019 marks the 70th anniversary of the modern Commonwealth, enabling cooperation towards social, political and economic development.
