On 9 July in Porto, Prince Amyn Aga Khan was awarded the City’s Medal of Honour by the Mayor of the Porto Municipality, Rui Moreira who presided over a ceremony at the Casa do Roseiral, in the Gardens of the Palácio de Cristal. The medal was presented in honour of "a great patron of the arts." Prince Amyn Aga Khan has a close relationship with several museums, including the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum in New York.

Prince Hussain Aga Khan held a beautiful speech on the main stage during EAT Stockholm Food Forum 2019 to bring awareness to the endangered species living in our oceans. Since the age of five, he has been a fan of the ocean and everything connected to it.

At 14, Prince Hussain Aga Khan started scuba diving, and by exploring the deep wide blue he developed a keen interest in conservation. He started traveling to the tropics frequently at secondary school and began taking photographs of fauna and flora on a trip to the Brazilian Amazon in 1996.

New Curragh development receives high praise after official opening

An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar hailed the new facilities at the Curragh as the track’s official opening ceremony took place during racing on Sunday.

The centrepiece of the redeveloped racecourse is the Aga Khan Stand, which can cater for up to 6,000 people over four levels, and the Aga Khan himself was on hand to take part in the celebrations.

The Aga Khan Music Awards recognise outstanding creativity, promising talent and initiative in the fields of performance, creation, education, preservation and musical revitalisation in societies where Muslims have a significant presence. Awarded by the Aga Khan Music Initiative, prizes will be presented during a three-day free-entry ceremony that includes concerts, competitions and conferences.

SEATTLE — The University of Washington today signed a memorandum of understanding with the Aga Khan University to codify partnership activities already underway and to leverage complementary strengths to further expand research, service and education in low- and middle-income countries.

The message said "It is with special happiness that I am writing to inform My Jamat that my beloved second son, Prince Hussain, is engaged to be married to Miss Elizabeth Hoag, who has adopted the name Fareen upon embracing Islam. It is expected that they will marry in the spring of 2019.

The Aga Khan, Mowlana Hazar Imam , was among the 70 World Leaders who attended in Paris, the ceremonies commemorating the 100 years of the Armistice that ended the World War 1 (the Great War). The Aga Khan attended the opening of the Paris Peace Forum which is scheduled from 11 to 13th November 2018.
