Christie’s is set to auction a stunning Colombian emerald brooch, once owned by the renowned socialite Nina Dyer. This extraordinary piece, initially sold at Christie’s in 1969, will return to the auction block on 12th November, 2024, marking a significant milestone in the auction house’s 55-year history in Switzerland.

Prince Rahim was born in Geneva October 12th 1971 the second child of our beloved Hazar Imam. Prince Rahim studied at Brown University and graduated in 1996. He is Chair of the Executive Committee of the Aga Khan Agency for Microfinance and is a member of the Board of the Fondation de Chantilly in France.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has conveyed her appreciation to Prince Rahim Aga Khan and Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) for the contributions made in Bangladesh over many decades.

The Prime Minister especially recognised the establishment of the Aga Khan Academy Dhaka, which seeks to create future Bangladeshi leaders who will contribute to further development of the country.

Prince Rahim Aga Khan and PM Sheikh Hasina met on Wednesday to discuss education and climate priorities in Bangladesh.

Hussain Aga Khan was born on 10 April 1974, in Geneva, Switzerland. He received his secondary education at Deerfield Academy, Massachusetts, and graduated from Williams College, Massachusetts, with a dual degree in theatre and French literature. In 2004, he received a Master of International Affairs degree from Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs. At Columbia, Hussain’s main area of study was Economic and Political Development with a regional focus on the Middle East and North Africa.
