President lauds Aga Khan’s contribution for uplift of underprivileged communities across world

He said this in a meeting with President of the Aga Khan Council for Pakistan Hafiz Sherali who called on him to deliver a letter from Prince Karim Aga Khan.

Govt likely to hand over new schools to Aga Khan Board 2018-07-06
Posted September 7th, 2018 by librarian-hdKARACHI: With its failure to properly run the newly established 50 English medium schools with Cambridge International Examination (CIE) system in the province, the Sindh government is likely to handover these schools to the Aga Khan Board to ensure quality education to the students, it was learnt on Thursday.
In this regard, an initial consultation has been made while the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Sindh government and Aga Khan Board will be signed very soon after which the control of these CIE schools is to be given to Aga Khan Board, sources told Pakistan Today.

MoU signed to support startups by young entrepreneurs 2018-08-08

The MoU was signed by Firoz Rasul, the AKU president and Dr. Zakiuddin Ahmed, OPEN (Karachi Chapter) president, who is also director of the PharmEvo's Digital Health and Strategic Projects.

That was the time when one of the courtiers told the emperor about a Hakeem of Chiniot Ilm Ud Ansari, and thus he was called to Lahore to cure the Queen’s disease which was distressing the emperor. So the Hakeem made his entry into the Royal Kingdom of the Mughals. Hakeem Ilm Ud Din Ansari figured out the cause of disease and cured it by making the Queen walk on burning sand.

Aga Khan University receives USD 144,000 for innovative research

The grant worth USD 25000 from Seeding Progress and Resources for the Cancer Community (SPARC) Metastatic Breast Cancer Challenge was received by the Head of Medical Oncology Division at Agakhan University, Dr. Asim Shaikh.
The grant was given as a result of a partnership between the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) and Pfizer Oncology.
