The conference to present the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda's sporting calendar and the competitive programme of the Young Azzurra team took place this morning.

For the first time, the traditional YCCS event was held online, with a live stream from the Azzurra Lounge at the Club's Porto Cervo headquarters which, in addition to members, was open to all journalists, guests and supporters wishing to take part. A recording of the event will remain available on the YCCS YouTube channel.

Ms Mengiste, Your Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen,

It is my very great pleasure to welcome you on behalf of His Highness the Aga Khan, and the entire Board of the Global Centre for Pluralism to our 8th Annual Pluralism Lecture

This year’s Annual Pluralism Lecture, presented by the Global Centre for Pluralism in partnership with the University of British Columbia, will be livestreamed on 19 May, and will feature opening remarks by Princess Zahra Aga.

The 8th Annual Pluralism Lecture, entitled “The Moment of Encounter: History, Disruptions, and Transformations” will be delivered by Ethiopian-American novelist Maaza Mengiste from New York’s Center for Fiction.

On behalf of the International Social Development and Sports Foundation, let me welcome you to the International Ismaili Women's Forum. I hope that you have all had safe journeys, and that you are rested and ready for three days of hard work. 2019, March 8: Princess Zahra Aga Khan has arrived in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania (here near Darkhana JK) for the Inauguration of the Phase II of the Aga Khan Hospital, tomorrow around 10 AM. Yesterday she had meetings in Nairobi , Kenya at the Aga Khan University Hospital.

On 10 October 2019, Princess Zahra, accompanied by her daughter, Miss Sara Boyden, was honoured with the Asia Society Texas Center’s Huffington Award in Houston, USA. Princess Zahra was honoured for her outstanding contributions that have furthered international understanding, uplifted lives, and advanced health and education through her work with the Aga Khan Development Network.

Princess Zahra and her daughter, Miss Sara Boyden, arrived in Houston, Texas, earlier today at the invitation of the Asia Society Texas Center. Princess Zahra is being honoured with the Huffington Award at the annual Award Dinner being held later tonight.

She will be recognised for her outstanding contributions that have furthered international understanding, uplifted lives, and advanced health and education on a global scale through her work with the Aga Khan Development Network.

Dar es Salaam. The government is confident of the performance of over 100 years of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) in economic, social and cultural arenas in Tanzania.

Princess Zahra Aga Khan ’94 came home to Harvard this week (May 13) to present a hopeful vision of what education in the developing world can be like.

The forum was in Askwith Hall in Longfellow Hall, at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. The occasion was the Dean’s Distinguished Lecture, which she was there to give.

At a time when the world is grappling with issues of child-centered education, of women’s rights in Muslim societies, and of the loss of authentic local cultures under a wave of globalization, the princess spoke to all of these.
