Aga Khan Trust for Culture Restores the "Blue Mosque" in Cairo 2015-05-02
Posted May 3rd, 2015 by librarian-umedCairo, 2 May 2015 – Restoration of the 14th century Amir Aqsunqur “Blue Mosque” in Al-Darb al-Ahmar has been completed by the Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC) as part of the larger Al-Darb al-Ahmar Urban Regeneration Programme.
The Minister of Antiquities, Mamdouh El Damaty, and the Governor of Cairo, Galal Said, joined His Highness the Aga Khan in marking the occasion at the Mosque.

Mr. Campbell is a former premier of British Columbia and Canada’s current High Commissioner in London.
Campbell was recently appointed by the Government of Canada as the country’s representative to the Ismaili Imamat and also serves as Canada’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.

H.H. The Aga Khan arrived at the Serena Kampala (Uganda) at 9:00pm local time this Tuesday 24th February 2015. The next day Mowlana Hazar Imam met His Excellency President Yoweri Museveni at the State House in Entebbe. On 26 February, he attended, with Princess Zahra, the AKU Convocation at 11:00 AM Kampala time (GMT+3).
