In a way there is nothing more exposing than standing in front of one’s own work but it’s through my passion for photography that I’m also able to share my passion for animals, wildlife and conservation and now with the help of evenings like this I want to take this passion to the next stage by starting a fund called Focused On Nature.
We are decimating these animals!
Losing them to habitat destruction and degradation, to hunting, poaching and many other factors.

The Muslim spiritual leader will be in Toronto on Friday to receive an honorary doctor of laws from the university for his 'outstanding contributions to community service, higher education and philanthropy,' university officials said.

He flew in from Kampala, Uganda, where he held discussions with President Yoweri Museveni and other senior government officials. While in Nairobi, he is expected to hold talks with President Moi and senior government officials. He is also expected to meet members of the Ismaili community. His last official visit to Kenya was in 1997.

"We believe that democracy is not just about elections and installing new governments at pre-determined intervals," said Fakhruddin at a state banquet in honour of visiting Prince Karim Aga Khan at Sonargaon Hotel Monday.

An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar hailed the new facilities at the Curragh as the track’s official opening ceremony took place during racing on Sunday.
The centrepiece of the redeveloped racecourse is the Aga Khan Stand, which can cater for up to 6,000 people over four levels, and the Aga Khan himself was on hand to take part in the celebrations.
