The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stepped out for a special event on Wednesday, ahead of their royal tour of Pakistan.
William and Kate, both 37, attended a reception hosted by His Highness The Aga Khan at the Aga Khan Centre in King's Cross, London. The couple met with a range of people from Pakistan at the event, including community leaders, those involved in British and Pakistani business, and key figures within the Diaspora community, including musicians, chefs and artists.

Hazar Imam informed the Global Jamat in a message dated September 9, 2019 that Prince Hussain would wed Fareen on September 29, 2019 and that the Nikah would be recited in Geneva.

In December 2018, Hazar Imam had informed the International Jamats, that Prince Hussain had been engaged to Miss Elizabeth Hoag who had adopted the name of Fareen upon embracing Islam.

Geneva, Switzerland, 25 April 2019 – The 20 shortlisted projects for the 2019 Aga Khan Award for Architecture were announced today. The projects will compete for US$ 1 million in prize money.

On 9 July in Porto, Prince Amyn Aga Khan was awarded the City’s Medal of Honour by the Mayor of the Porto Municipality, Rui Moreira who presided over a ceremony at the Casa do Roseiral, in the Gardens of the Palácio de Cristal. The medal was presented in honour of "a great patron of the arts." Prince Amyn Aga Khan has a close relationship with several museums, including the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum in New York.

Prince Aly Muhammad Aga Khan visits Tajikistan

Prince Aly Muhammad Aga Khan, youngest son of His Highness the Aga Khan, arrived yesterday in Khorog, the capital of Tajikistan’s Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO) for an official visit, according to the GBAO administration press center.

On the same day, Prince Aly Muhammad visited the Khorog Campus of the University of Central Asia (UCA).

The Annual Pluralism Lecture 2019 will take place on 11 June in Lisbon, where Mawlana Hazar Imam is expected to introduce this year’s speaker, Amina J. Mohammed. The event is anticipated to begin at 7:00 PM UTC+1, and will be webcast at the.ismaili/live.

Hosted by the Global Centre for Pluralism, the Annual Pluralism Lecture provides an opportunity to learn from individuals whose work has made a practical difference in the world. New Curragh development receives high praise after official opening

An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar hailed the new facilities at the Curragh as the track’s official opening ceremony took place during racing on Sunday.

The centrepiece of the redeveloped racecourse is the Aga Khan Stand, which can cater for up to 6,000 people over four levels, and the Aga Khan himself was on hand to take part in the celebrations.

It is significant because of the cooperation many organisations and individuals who have made the establishment of the school and construction of this complex of buildings possible.

Hazar Imam attended Commonwealth Day at Westminster Abbey, London today March 11, 2019. In attendance also were dignitaries from all Commonwealth countries and the British Royal Family. Hazar Imam's family also attended including Princess Zahra, Prince Rahim and Princess Salwa.

The Commonwealth represents 53 countries and almost 2.4 billion people and 2019 marks the 70th anniversary of the modern Commonwealth, enabling cooperation towards social, political and economic development.
