Posted August 26th, 2020 by librarian-hdAccording to the auction house, visionaries, and ahead of their time, Prince Sadruddin and Princess Catherine Aga Khan have been the discreet patrons of many major philanthropic projects, aimed at preserving cultural and natural sites, from Egyptian temples to the Alps.
The remarkable private collection of Sadruddin Aga Khan and his wife, will head to auction on October 1, 2020, global auction house Christie’s announced. The couple are the son and daughter-in-law of Aga Khan III, president of the All-India Muslim League during India’s pre-Independence era.

The wedding of Prince Hussain and Ms Elizabeth Hoag
Posted September 30th, 2019 by librarian-hdPrince Hussain, second son of Mawlana Hazar Imam, married Ms Elizabeth Hoag in a private ceremony on 29 September 2019, in Geneva, Switzerland. Attended by immediate family members, the proceedings took place in accordance with Muslim tradition.
The nikah was recited by Mr Vahid Khoshideh, President of the Association Islamique et Culturelle d’Ahl-el-Bayt de Geneve, and the proceedings concluded with the recitation of a traditional qasida in Farsi.
“This is a very happy occasion for us and I am delighted to welcome Elizabeth into our family,” said Mawlana Hazar Imam.

Posted September 22nd, 2019 by librarian-hdHazar Imam informed the Global Jamat in a message dated September 9, 2019 that Prince Hussain would wed Fareen on September 29, 2019 and that the Nikah would be recited in Geneva.
In December 2018, Hazar Imam had informed the International Jamats, that Prince Hussain had been engaged to Miss Elizabeth Hoag who had adopted the name of Fareen upon embracing Islam.
This wedding has brought immense joy to Hazar Imam and His family and He wished the Jamats to join in this celebration
