Prince Rahim was born on September 12th 1971 in Geneva, Switzerland. He graduated from Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, in 1990, Prince Rahim graduated from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, U.S.A in 1995.

He was 70.The prince died in a Boston hospital after a long illness, an official of one of his foundations told AFP. After a career in the United Nations that spanned nearly 40 years, the prince devoted himself to defence and environmental issues.

Agency gives world's poorest loans and insurance - 2005-02-22
Posted February 25th, 2010 by heritageThe poorest people in Africa and Asia are to be given access to home loans and insurance by a development agency to help drag them out of poverty and rebuild their lives after a disaster such as the devastating tsunami.The scheme would go beyond the small loans, known as microcredit and often as little as $US50 ($NZ69) given to farmers and entrepreneurs to set them up in business.
The Aga Khan Development Network said it aimed to expand its work to products including health insurance, education loans and savings accounts to the poorest people.

The prince died on Monday in hospital in Boston in the United States after a long illness, an official of one of his foundations told AFP.
After a career in the United Nations that spanned nearly 40 years, the prince devoted himself to defence and environmental issues.
Born in Paris in January 1933, Prince Sadruddin, whose name means 'defender of the faith' in Arabic, was the younger son of Mahomed Shah Aga Khan III.
