ja(n)pudeep maa(n) gure keedho mukaam…. 1

The name of the Primal Divine Guide is Nur Satgur,
who made his abode in India.

setar-deep delam des ho jaann,
teeaa(n) nur sat-gur betthaa ho aann….2

Know that there is a country in the land of the West called Dailam (Northern Iran)
It was there that Nur Satgur dwelt.

VERSE 3

delam des thee peere(n) keeaa ho aann,
teeaa(n) aaveaa nagaree bheeladdee ho jaann….3

From the land of Dailam came the Pir.
He came to the city of the Bheels [Bhils]

The pearl of the river of the truth and the gem is in the mind of your being. You are the diver of the truth, while your beloved is the pearl of your spirit. You are not aware of the truth, thus you have lost the right path-if you become aware of the reality-your body and soul will be alike. Because you do not follow the farmans hence, your instructions are not acceptable to others. However, if you obey the farmans, then your orders will be truthful orders. Oh you who is thirsty for the water of life, how long will you remain thirsty?

Reflect (contemplate, meditate) upon the True Word and say 'PeerShaah'(name of the Lord or other form of zikr) as often as possible, or repeat again and again the words 'Peer and Lord'

bhaaee momanojee aaveene beso ameeras peeyo,

bhaaee jenne seerajeeyaa tene dheeyaaee-e.........................1

O brother momins, come and be seated and drink the nector(ginaans -water of life). Brothers adore the one who has created you.

bhaaee momanojee jene umaayaa sohee ham paayaa,

apanne satgure satpa(n)th dekhaaddyaajee..........................2

O brother believers, the one whom you have prayed to is indeed the one whom I have attained. The True Guide has shown you the True Path.

bhaaee momanojee dashava(n)dee seerava(n)dee apannaa gurnarku(n) pyaaraa,

eji paratak alennee faa(n)s maa(n)ddee, teeyaa pa(n)kheeddaa
besavaane jaay;
ek potaane se(n)so padayo, beejaane bhaare tteegaay re;
muktaa to fall tyaare laie, jyaare guru keeje neervaann re;
deheenaa paa(n)jar to falle, jo satgurnee maano aann;
bharam to bhaa(n)ge feraa to ttalle, jo jai puchho satgurnaa
geenaan..1

alennee - creditless, worthless, without any relationship
faa(n)s maa(n)ddee - the net has been spread
pa(n)kheeddaa - birds
se(n)so (sa(n)shay) - doubt, suspicion
beejaane bhaare - in the fascination or charm of others
tteengaay - become trapped

1 paratham radeh dhoeene neeramal karee-e,
2 beejee keereeaa naaeene jamee-e.

1 First wash your heart and make it pure.
2 As the second good deed wash before eating.

3 sate chaalo tame deevas ne raat,
4 kudd kapatt nee melo dhaat.

3 Proceed in truth by day and night.
4 Abandon the habit of falsehood and deceit.

5 daeaa paalo tame deel su(n) jaannee,
6 supaatre daan deeje paramaannee.

5 Foster compassion with awareness in your heart.
6 Assuredly give alms to those who are deserving.

7 paratak jaannine paase rahee-e,
8 sat-gur vachan radaa maa(n)he girahee-e.

1 paratham radeh dhoeene neeramal karee-e,

2 beejee keereeaa naaeene jamee-e.

1. Keep thy heart pure, away from defilement. This is the first kiriya.

2. Take food only after having bathed thy body. This is the second kiriya.

3. Follow the prescription of truthfulness, day and night.

4. Avoid sowing the seed of falsehood and cheating.

5. Treat everyone with sincere understanding and kindness.

6. Give alms only to deserving decent people.

7. Understand (sympathetically) the suffering of those around thee.

8. Wholeheartedly accept the precepts of Sat Gur.

9. Never become proud when thou occupiest a superior position.

Meaning: Shree-Holy, Kalank - loose character, Naklank - One who cannot be blamed, one without sin, one to whom nothing is applicable, Naaraayann - The best of all, Alakh - cannot be described, Nirinjan - cannot be seen with eyes, Paataar - land under ocean, ocean bed, Abhar - complete, thaap - establish or created, Mandhann - foundation, Saami - Lord, Sirijanhaar - Creator of all.

* Le poète s’appelle Shams Tabriz.

* Il explique que tant et aussi longtemps que le monde existera, nous aurons la preuve de l’existence d’Ali. Ali existe depuis même avant la création du monde et du temps!

* Wassi = successeur du prophète.

* Ali est comme un roi qui contient tout le noor de Allah. C’est le Wassi de Muhammad.

* Le noor des prophètes tels que Adam, Edris, Ayub, Yusuf, Yunus, Hud, Musa, Isa, Ilyas, Saleh et Daud fait partie du noor de Ali!

BAAVAN BODH(Fifty two advices) - BY PEER SADARDEEN

Preamble to the So Kriyaa.

1. satgur tannee shikhaamann saachee,

2. saa(m)bhalo rikheesaro mallee man raachee.

1. The precepts(teachings) of the True Guide are true.

2. Listen o believers, earn(gain) them and thereby make your heart joyful and happy.

3. din ooge karo dharamshu(n) dha(n)dhaa,

4. saa(n)j padde thaee raho saahebjee naa ba(n)daa.

3. When the day arises perform your worldly activities according to the principles of religion.

4. In the evenings remain the creatures of the Lord(in devotion).

Dhin ki baat kahi na jaave,
laakh karo to haath na aave 1

The mysteries of religion cannot be disclosed (to the uninitiated), for even through a hundred thousand exertions, they cannot be attained (it is through grace that one attains them).

Neh agansun dehaa biraani,
prem kathaa kine na jaani 2

Through the fire of love, my being seems remote/detached, the tale of love cannot be understood by anyone ( who has not tasted it).

Khol kahun to koi na paave,
taare gintaa rahen bihaave 3
