Aga Khan inaugurates Construction of Obstetrics Facility in Kabul 2012-10-20

The Foundation Ceremony of the new Women’s Wing at the French Medical Institute for Children (FMIC) today, marked the start of construction for a new obstetrics and gynaecology wing on the hospital premises that will provide high quality care for mothers and newborns in Afghanistan. The building, which will take 24 months to complete, will offer 52 additional beds for obstetric and gynecologic care and a 14-bed neonatal intensive care unit — the first in Afghanistan.

Established in 2002, the school is part of a network of over 250 schools managed by the Aga Khan Education Services (AKES) in East Africa, South Asia and Central Asia and provides close to 500 students with quality learning experiences in an environment which values diversity, and responds creatively to the educational needs of children.

Aga Khan at the 2012 Qatar Prix de l' Arc d'Triomphe
Posted October 6th, 2012 by librarian-hdDalkala won the 5th Race for H.H. The Aga Khan on the Opening day of the 2012 Arc d'Triomphe at Longchamps. This 5th Race - the Qatar Prix de Royallieu - had the highest winners' purse in the amount of 250,000.00 euros for this day.
The Aga Khan's racing colors were represented by 4 horses in Races 2,3, 5 and 6 with the jockey for all races being CP Lemaire.
Race 2 horse was Verema, Race 3 had Sarkiyla, Race 5 was run by the winner Dalkala and Race 6 was run by Parisham.

Dignified Consent Judgment refused to Defendants - Appeal filed! - Aga Khan Copyright Lawsuit -2011-02-08
Posted February 8th, 2011 by heritageThe Aga Khan Copyright judgment in January was the first Intellectual Property judgment of 2011. Attempts were made by defendants to bring back to the table the ideas put forth by the Imam in October 2010.
Defendants were told categorically by Gray that their input about aligning his drafted Order with what the Aga Khan said on October 15th was not welcome, no discussion would happen, and that they could make any comments to the Judge Himself.

Zanzibar Lets Down Aga Khan On Expansion Of Serena By Leasing Prime Real Estate On Forodhani - 2011-01-17
Posted February 3rd, 2011 by heritageZanzibar government has contravened laid down procedures in leasing out two of its Forodhani Beach buildings and a garden to the Kempinski hotel group for 99 years. Sources said the hotel is planning to construct a five star hotel at the site.
Reports are that the Aga Khan Development Network, (AKDN) had already reached final stages of negotiations with the government to develop Forodhani area by building gardens and the first phase started last year.

- The discovery did happen, Hazar Imam arrived at 10:40am. Mr Gray brought also the real Plaintiffs Sachedina and Manji. {there was no Affidavit from H.H. The Aga Khan in this case which was solely supported by Affidavit from Sachedina and Bhaloo unauthorised by the Imam according to their own sworn replies at previously held Discoveries]
