I expected the Aga Khan to be a Parisian at heart, like his grandfather and father before him, with "high society" manners, living in luxury and idle for most of the time.

Hazar Imam gave an interview to Roger Priouret for the French magazine L'Expansion; 'Face a Face'. Translated in English under the title 'Face to Face with the Aga Khan'. This is the interview where Hazar Imam said that Religion is not something that should be modified everyday.

Hazar Imam sent a 3 pages hand-written letter to Mr. Bhogilal of Ahmedabad for the 'magnificent hospitality' shown to Hazar Imam during his stay at the Bhogilal home.

The 25th of February, 1989.

Dear Mr. Bhogilal, After returning to Aiglemont from India, I spent four days here before leaving for Egypt, and as I got back only the day before yesterday from that journey. I simply have not had an earlier occasion to write to you personally to thank you and your wife and niece for the magnificent hospitality you extended to me during my stay in Ahmedabad.

Hazar Imam met with President Idi Amin at His Kampala lodge. Prince Amyn Aga khan, chairman of the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development signed on behalf of TPS while Prof. Peter Kasenene signed on behalf of Government. Begum Salimah was guest of honour at Health Board baby show. Begum Salimah attended Ismailia Association Religious Education Department audio-visual aids display exhibition.

February 13, 1914 -Sir Sultan Mohamed Shah, Aga Khan III was given a grand reception by the leaders of the Indian communities residing in Burma at the Jubilee Hall at approximately 5 p.m. The Honourable U. Hpay was voted to the chair, and he started the proceedings. The address of welcome was read by U. May Oung (which was later printed in the 'The Rangoon Gazette,' on February 16 under the title "Advise to the Indian Residents in Burma"). The address was then enclosed in a silver casket surmounted by a golden peacock and was then presented to Sir Sultan Mohamed Shah, Aga Khan III.

The garden honours the partnership between the University of Alberta and the Aga Khan University

A spectacular new garden will bloom in 2018 at the University of Alberta Botanic Garden, located 15 minutes southwest of Edmonton.

"I have been most impressed during this short visit, not only with the excellent maintenance of the buildings, but even more so with the appearance of all the children and with the intelligent care and guidance they are receiving. Bravo to All." In the afternoon, His Royal Highness accompanied by Princess Salimah drove to the Prince Aly Khan Boys' Academy at Malir to perform the opening ceremony of the Academy established by the Ismailia Youth Services in memory of Hazar Imam's illustrious father the late Prince Aly S. Khan.
