Hazar Imam delivers His Diamond Jubilee address at Aiglemont to the worldwide Jamat 2017-07-11

Leaders from the past and present arrived at Hazar Imam's residence at Aiglemont on Tuesday July 11, 2017 to mark the inauguration of the Diamond Jubilee marking 60 years on the Masnad of Imamat.

A musical ensemble at Aiglemont represented music from the global Jamat. Devotional songs representing the diversity of the Ismaili community were as well as ginans.

Over 400 senior leaders of the worldwide Ismaili Muslim community moved in procession towards the residence of His Highness the Aga Khan at his Aiglemont estate in Gouvieux, France on the occasion of his Diamond Jubilee.

His Highness Prince Karim, the Aga Khan, is many things.

July 11, 2017 will mark the 60th anniversary of the ascension to the throne of Imamat by His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan who is the 49th Holy Imam in direct lineage from the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.s)

Prince Karim dedicated his life to the spiritual and material upliftment of all his Ismaili Murids. He has also pledged to improve the quality of life of the people amongst whom his followers lived and the countries in which they lived.
