The president of the society, Lt. Gen. Muhammed Yousif, Pakistan’s High Commissioner in U.K, welcoming His Royal Highness eulogized the efforts of the Aga Khans in the establishment of Pakistan and paid tributes to their work for the well-being of the world of Islam.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Phantom VI State Limousine
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has assented to her Phantom VI State Limousine being present at ‘The Great Eight Phantoms’ – A Rolls-Royce Exhibition.
In 1977, to mark her Silver Jubilee, the UK's Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders gifted Her Majesty a new official State Limousine, a custom-built Phantom VI.

We are decimating these animals!
Losing them to habitat destruction and degradation, to hunting, poaching and many other factors.

Jockey Pat Smullen picked up his first Epsom Derby win after delivering a well-timed move, opening a clear advantage when passing Idaho in midstretch, and then fending off runner-up Us Army Ranger, the 7-2 favorite, for a 1 1/2-length victory in the £1,545,000 ($2.25 million) classic, the most lucrative race ever run in Great Britain.

The Aga Khan deplores devastation in Syria, Calls for Islands of Stability 2016-02-04

“We seek to create ‘islands of stability’, where there is public consensus, in the face of war. It is my conviction that ‘islands of stability’ can be replicated wherever security permits. Investing in them will help to prevent displacement of people and anchor communities that would otherwise flee as refugees,” he said.
