Established jointly by Special Communications Organization of the Government of Pakistan and the Aga Khan Foundation Pakistan, the IT Park in Hunza will provide state-of-the-art infrastructure with un-interrupted power supply, high-speed internet facility and a co-working space for small and growing businesses, start-ups, freelancers, and chamber of commerce.

The Aga Khan is not only holy to the Ismailis but muslims from all sects respect and regard him as a benevolent personality who has served humanity in his capacity without any discrimination.
He has always presented a pleasant and amicable face of Islam in international forums.

Posted February 25th, 2010 by heritageThe mountainous Northern Areas of Pakistan bordering China and Indian administered Kashmir, finally have a chance of emerging from poverty and backwardness, thanks to increasing attention from international donors, particularly a US $123,641 grant from Japan last week.The Northern Areas, home to 1.2 million people spread across 1,123 villages, were unrepresented in Parliament for the last 57 years. For all practical purposes, they are governed directly by Pakistan's federal government.
