Gorakh will come to the Master of the nine and will play a thousand

musical sounds. (The Lord) will be manifest in water and dry land (everywhere), the devils army will run away.

In your city of Chinab swords will make sounds and all the demons will fear. The devil's army has a strength of the magnitude of 6.6 million. Such a power will get involved in the battle.

maaraa saachaa saameene vadhaavshe;

ansuyaa ku(n)taa maataa ddhropadee,

dholl ma(n)gal gaayshe.....................5

The festive occassion will take place in the fortresses and streets (of the this city) i.e in open. My True Lord will be glorified there. Ansuya Kuntaa and Dhhropadi(the mother and the wife of the five Pandavs respectively), will sing pure songs.

teelak tu(n)ddal baa(n)dhashe;

veeshavane varadaan daeene, kayaam ka(n)yaa parannashe.......6

In the ears will be earings which will blend with the crown and the face will be tied with teelak. After granting a boon to the universe, the Everlasting will wed the virgin.

There will come a respected person from the Merciful, he will remain awake in the true quarter of the night. Calling all individuals, the Lord of the three worlds will take account of all deeds.

O dear Lord, we the people of less religion, are imperfect

in our religious duties; O Lord forgive us of our shortcomings.

O dear brothers, because of the promise of the four kalaps

and four jugs, Prophet Muhammed does intercede on our behalf

ek jeere bhaaire chaa(n)ddhrunnaa sareekho is jug maa(n)he jaanno

to deel maa(n)he nur neeshaanee jee............................4

O dear brothers, as the light of the moon shines at night, in the same manner,

the Light of the Lord is manifest in this age (in the form of Haazar Imaam).

If this fact is realized, then there will be Divine Light

(joy and ecstacy) in your hearts.

O brothers, this Light is indeed manifest in the True Path.

All other paths are to be regarded as deceitful.

O brothers, worship the True Path with conviction,

as this world is deceitful and false.

ek jeere bhaaire kal maa(n)he aaveene sab koi bhulaa

bhaai keeyaa re mullaa ne keeyaa kaajee........................7

O brothers, each and everyone who has come into this age,

has forgotten the purpose, even the Mullaas and the Kaajees

(the learned people).

ek jeere bhaaire karodd paa(n)ch saat navesu na dhyaayaa

baaresu na meeleeyaa

sab mat bhulo mere bhaai.......................................8

O brothers, through the ages, i.e., with the five crores

of the Kartaa Jug, seven crores of Tretaa Jug, nine crores

of Duaapur Jug and twelve crores of Kal Jug; you did not

serve and acknowledge Haazar Imaam. Now, O momins!

do not fail to go along your eternal path in the company

of countless souls who will be led by Peer Hassan Kabeerdeen.

ek teerath vedhddaa peer shams gaazee sadhnnaa
tusaa naavo naavo naavannaa veeraa naavannaa...................1

Going to the sacred bathing-place, Pir Shams the Ghazi calls: bathe if you would bathe, bathe if you would.

Variation:
Admonishing a caravan going for the Hindu pilgrimage(teerath), Peer Shams, the conquerer says that your bath should be the bath of reality.

naate dhote sejeeyaa jeene gurdhaa farmaayaa keeyaa
or nahee naavnnaa nahee naavnnaa............................2

Those souls who have bathed and washed in accordance with the Guide's command should not bathe elsewhere, should not bathe.

Variation:
Real bathing has been done by the one who has followed the precepts (Farmaan) of the (True) Guide. There is no other bathing besides this.

raaho rah chalo tusaa peer puchhee raah chalo
ujadd pag nahee paavnnaa na paavnnaa........................3

Proceed along the Path. Ask the Pir the way and proceed along the Path. In the wilderness no path is to be found, to be found.

Variation:
Walk on the Right Path after asking (or seeking) the (True) Guide. Do not set your feet in a deserted place.

manhatthee ruhaane samjaavannaa - e samjaavnnaa..............4

Pir Shams preaches to the souls, to give understanding to stubborn hearts and spirits, to give understanding.

Variation:
Peer Shamsh preaches (or guides) the (good) souls and persuades the arrogant souls.

This royal call at my Master's court: through the eye of a needle, brother, let an elephant be passed, be passed.

Variation:
The doorstep(or courtyard) of my Lord is very narrow. It is like passing an elephant through the eye of the needle.

'Whose child are you, whose daughter? In which husband's house are you the wife?'

ma(n)e thul puras ghar naareeaa...................................3

'I am the daughter of truth and the child of contentment. I am a wife in the house of my husband the body.

'I have left my husband the body asleep. I have left my child rocking.

'I have left the milk boiling on the hearth. I have come to the abode of the Divine Lord.

O fortunate one, submit the tithe and remain in the company of the Guide. Then do not be concerned about the world, fortunate one.

e sabhaagaa duneeyaa pal raakho chal tusaa
paannee chhaanne pee-o sabhaagaa......................3

O fortunate one, maintain the relationship with the world on a momentary basis. Drink water after filtering it (i.e., be discriminative regarding your lifestyles), fortunate one.

e sabhaagaa khaadhaa so khaadhaa peetaa so peetaa
detaa sohee parmaann sabhaagaa........................4

O fortunate one, whatever is eaten is eaten and whatever is drunk is drunk(i.e. it is consumed). Only that which you give(as charity) will be regarded as of substance(in the hereafter), fortunate one.

e sabhaagaa deeyaa tumeraa shaah savaa laakh lakhshe
potaa dar deevaan sabhaagaa...........................5

O fortunate one, whatever you submit as charity(tithe), will be regarded one hundred twenty five thousand times by the Lord. This amount will indeed reach the door of the Majesty, fortunate one.

O fortunate one, as the iron is hammered on the anvil, in the same manner the sinful will be punished on the Day of Judgement, fortunate one.

O fortunate one, there the Lord will take account by flaying. At the end only your deeds will be with you for certain, fortunate one.

O fortunate one, the Lord himself is the scholar, He himself is the judge, He himself is the ved (holy scriptures) and the Qur'aan, fortunate one.

O fortunate one, the Lord will gradually come along with his group in Multaan, fortunate one.

Tell, O human being, what hast thou come for if served hast thou not the Lord? ...2

Man hath grown greedy of the world. Absorbed in the temptations of the world, he is lost in delusion. ...3

If, thus, thou absorbst thy mind in the world, the brain in the head shall come out through the ears. For seemingly insignificant thing (il), the Lord shall hold inquiry. ...4

With many a hundred rays, the sun shall shine (then) the mother shall not say: This is my son (child) ...5

All the Jamat inquires of the Lord (Pir) of our souls: Of what sort are the houses in Paradise? ...6

Of gold are the bricks and of silver, the pillars of pure musk are the walls. (lit. gara plastering material for the walls) ...7

Such mansions our Lord hath built. Have ye on your credit good deeds. Procure will ye such houses. ...8

Pir Sadardeen says: Listen all ye momins! Earn ye good deeds ye shall get such fruits.

One who has remained forgetful in this world will undergo a difficult time on the day of judgement: as our Lord is going to take up a detailed account of all action, which he committed in this world. ...4

Members of Jamat question the Pir of our souls about dwellings in heaven. What type of dwellings are there? ...5

Pir replies: These dwellings are made from bricks of gold. Their pillars from silver and they are plastered with pure musk. ...6

Our master has created such dwellings in heaven. If you perform good deeds you will acquire such a dwelling. ...7

Pir Sadardeen addresses the Jamat: Listen O believers! If you perform good deeds, you will earn such rewards from your Lord. ...8

Ask your own selves(souls) for what purpose have we come in this world if you have not worshipped(served) the Lord(Haazar Imaam).

ejee duneeyaano lobh jeevddo karavaane laagojee

The soul has indulged itself in the greed of this world. For the sake of the greed of this world and delusion, it has forgotten it's essential purpose.

ejee bhulo te maathaano bhejo kaane neesarashejee
teel teelnaa lekhaa saaheb leshejee..........................4

If you have forgotten(by the end of your life), then (the Lord will punish you in such a manner) that your brain will protrude from your ears. The Lord will take account of every little thing done.

maai na kaheve putra meraajee................................5

(On the Day) the sun will blaze with hundredfold intensity of heat. Even a mother will not be able to recognise her own son.

ejee jumlojee puchhe aapannaa jeevu(n)naa peerne
amaraapureenaa ghar chhe kevaajee............................6

The Jamaats ask the Peer(Guide) of the souls: what is the nature of the eternal abode?

Such are the mansions our Lord has built. Earn good deeds so that you may earn such an abode.

eji e - "o", a particle of addressing, summoning, remembering.
ji - a term signifying obedience and respect, a suffix used at the end of the name of elders or
respectable persons, just as Sir and Mr. are placed at the beginning of a name.

dur - distant, remove, far away or off.
desh - country, mother-land.
thee - from
aayo - has come
vannjaaro - a trader moving from place to place with merchandise loaded on oxen or boat.
shaah - Lord, Master, a Persian term for emperor or king.
mil - to meet, to mix or mingle with, to come together, to unite with, to be harmonised or
accorded, to find, to agree with.
sodaa - a commercial bargain or venture.
keejee-e - conduct, perform, execute.

O momin! you are a trader who has come from a distant country(unbounded by space and time). Perform (only) the bargain which will yield the meeting with the Lord(perform acts that will lead you towards unity with the ultimate reality- your origin).

sute - while sleeping or lying down; in a reclining position
betthe - while seated; in-active; peaceful; tranquil
bhaai - brothers
raah - road; path; a way
chalante - moving forward; to be in motion, to be active
naam - name; memory; remembrance.
saaheb jee - the Lord
ko - of the
leejee-e - to recite; to receive; to accept; to hold; to catch.

O momin! while sleeping or seated brother, or moving along a way, recite(remember) the name of the Lord.

jo - what ever; anything; provided; if
ghar - in the house or abode or dwelling; home; family; household;
house-hold-life; worldly life; ancestry; lineage.
hove - to have; to be; to take place; to occur; to happen; to come into existence.
bhaai - brothers
vast - things; substance; any kind of matter.
peeyaaree - dear to the heart; favourite; beloved.
so - that (particular one)
naam - in the name of; in the memory of; in the remembrance of
saaheb jee - Lord, Master.
ko - to; of; for.
deejee-e - give; sacrifice; submit; present; entrust.

O momin! whatever you have that is dear to your heart, submit it in the name of the Lord.

ek - one; single; individual.
kann - a single grain of corn; a granular thing; a very small bit or fragment.
palatra - in the hereafter, in the other world.
savaa - one and a quarter
laakh - one hundred thousand (100,000).

O momin! if you give(offer) one bit in the name of the Lord, you will receive in return one hundred and twenty five thousand times in the hereafter or later.

a(n)dhle - blind; one who has never seen light; one who is in darkness
ku(n) - to the, for the
cha(n)dar - the moon
yaaraa - friends; affectionate.
najar - sight; vision; perception by eyes.
kahennaa - verbal statements or explanations.
sohee - that person; such a person.
patijee-e - is convinced; (to find; understand; perceive; imagine).

O momin! to the blind ones(faithless), the moon(the Imaam) is not visible. To such persons, no matter how much is explained, will not be convinced about this truth.

to ann deetthaa kee-u kar deejee-e jee........................6

deetthddaa - seen with eyes; witnessed
dosh - fault; error; drawback; mistake; crime; plot; stigma;
blemish; sin.
kisi - anyone; no-one.
ann deetthaa - unseen; unwitnessed.
kiyu kar - why, for what reason.

O momin, never attribute faults and mistakes seen by your eyes, to anyone. Then how can you blame someone for an unwitnessed error.

seer paa(n)u narge paddee-e jee...............................7

par - other's; unacquainted.
nindaa - a)slander - spiteful rumour, to speak untruth about others spitefully
b)censure - to blame; reprove.
c)to abuse person - ill-treat; insult; misuse; violate.
jagat - the world; the creation; the universe; society; public opinion; mankind; moving; movable;
living.
khuaaree - causing ruin, misery, affliction, distress, harm, injury.
seer - head ! seer pao: A full dress bestowed upon a person (in ! olden times)
as a mark of appreciation ! or reward.
paa(n)u - leg !
narage - to hell or to a place of torment.
paddeejee-e - to fall; to drop into; to abade; to be absorbed into; to degenerate into.

O momin! slandering others causes the ruin of the universe and from head to feet the person degenerates to hell.

maannek - a ruby; a red diamond or precious stone.
chunnee - to pick, select as birds search for food with their beaks.

O momin! the trader(the Guide) has arrived with precious stones( Divine knowledge and wisdom). Select the precious stones only from Him.

ka(n)ch - glass
saann - with; along with.

O momin! do not bargain with those who abandon the precious stones and trade in glass instead.

da(n)dd - a big stick; a staff; punishment; fine.

O my brother! earn pure and clean deeds, then fire(of lust, passion, anger, anxiety) will not burn you, the wind(of pride, doubt, greed) will not shake you, the floods(vissitudes and vagaries of time) will not drown you, and the King will not punish you.

O momin! the Lord having opened the treasure house is seated. Listen to Him about matters which you regard as inferior or superior.

mul - price; worth; value.
kareejee-e - set or give, give an estimate for an exchange value of commodity.

O momin! my Lord is seated with the balance. Then bring your (deeds) to him for evaluation.

a sling, the Peer scatters his words.
