Dhaka, Jan 11 (UNB) – The prestigious Aga Khan Gold Cup Golf Tournament-2019 got off to a fine start amidst a lot of fanfare at the Kurmitola Golf Course on Friday morning.

Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat officially inaugurated the ceremony as chief guest by teeing off in the morning at 7am.

reland had to settle for a three-way share of second place in the Longines FEI Nations Cup at Dublin Horse Show yesterday where it was the team from Mexico who were waving at the finish after a brilliant second round performance saw them seize the initiative from their hosts and romp to a first ever Aga Khan triumph.

It was heartache for Ireland in the RDS as Mexico prevailed in a jump-off to claim their first-ever Aga Khan trophy.
