The exhibition includes 215 items from a collection of 1,000 pieces. It will run until June 6th. And eventually move to a permanent home in Toronto, in mid 2013.

The Nation Media Group is exactly 50 years today(Thursday) and the highlight of the celebrations, the Pan Africa media Conference was opened on Thursday morning by president Mwai Kibaki. At the opening ceremony, the president lauded the role played by the media in opening up the democratic space.

As part of marking its 50th anniversary Nation Media Group on Thursday night hosted a dinner for delegates and dignitaries at the KICC. Vice president Kalonzo Musyoka lauded NMG for its bravery attitude of exposing vices like corruption and nepotism.
