Mowlana Shah Karim attended the Canadian International at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto, Canada. His horse Alasha trained by Sir Michael Stoute and jockey Johnny Murtagh raced at 2:26 PM and came in second in the Taylor Stakes. At the finish of the mile and one-quarter classic, contested over a turf course listed as yielding, Fraulein and red-hot jockey Kevin Darley prevailed by one length over a closing Alasha. From Woodbine, Mowlana Shah Karim went to visit the site of the proposed high profile Jamatkhana.
