Aga Khan pays tribute to Genocide victims in Kigali 2016-04-14
2016, April 14 - 11:11 — librarian-hdThe Chairman of the Aga Khan Group of Companies, Amyn Aga Khan, visited Kigali Genocide memorial on Wednesday to commemorate Genocide victims buried at the site.
The memorial is home to about 250,000 victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
The Aga Khan, who was in the country on a two-day private visit, took time to join the staff of Kigali Serena Hotel to pay respect to Genocide victims. According to Denise Omany, the country sales and marketing manager at Serena.

Prince Amyn arrived in Nairobi yesterday but went to Kigali today. He did not attend the Games in Nairobi. The launching of the Games ceremony was grandiose but the closing was not as powerful. A small fireworks ended the Ceremony. Of course tons of photos uploaded every day...

Aga Khan Eyes Intercontinental - 2005-09-23

Mahmoud Jan Muhammad also hinted at Kivu Sun Hotel, Nyungwe Game Reserve and Akagera National Park.'We have already identified a number of investment potentials in the country, specifically targeting the tourism sector,' he said. Muhammad disclosed that Serena Group, which is an arm of the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development chains of hotels and safari lodges in East Africa, a hotel in Zanzibar and Mozambique.
