The Aga Khan Receives Canada’s New Representative to the Ismaili Imamat 2015-03-04

Aiglemont, France, 4 March 2015 - His Highness the Aga Khan today received His Excellency Gordon Campbell, who has been recently appointed as the Representative of the Government of Canada to the Ismaili Imamat. Mr. Campbell is a former premier of British Columbia and Canada’s current High Commissioner in London.
Campbell was recently appointed by the Government of Canada as the country’s representative to the Ismaili Imamat and also serves as Canada’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.
According to The Ismaili, Campbell met the Ismaili spiritual leader at his Aiglemont estate for a meeting alongside Prince Rahim himself, Canada’s resident representative of the Aga Khan Development Network Dr. Mahmoud Eboo, president of the Ismaili Council for Canada Malik Talib, political counsellor at the Canadian High Commision to the U.K Rouben Khatchadourian, and head of the department of diplomatic affairs at Hazar Imam’s secretariat Dr. Shafik Sachedina
