AGA KHAN TO SPEND Sh2 BILLION ON SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS - 2003-02-01
The Aga Khan Development Network (Kenya) will this year spend over Sh2 billion to construct three schools in Mombasa and an extension to the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi. The network's representative, Ambassador Anil Ishani said some Sh462 million will be used to construct the schools in Nyali and Kilindini. Ishani said they are also spending Sh1.5 billion on the second phase of the Aga Khan Hospital to make it a specialised medical centre and will involve getting State-of-the-art equipment.
