The Aga Khan, spiritual leader of the Shia Ismaili Muslims, today discussed with External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha the scope of his development network in promoting education, health and rural development in India.

During the 45-minute-long meeting, the Aga Khan, who is on his first visit to India in 11 years, spoke about the potential for cooperation also in areas like micro credit, financial services, humanitarian assistance and in the promotion of non-governmental organisations, informed sources said.
