Bibi Fatima was the first to establishthe ceremony of Ghat Pat* in this world; ref: to Jodilo 10. Was also the Hujjat, hence her Light founded the Ghat Pat.

Dynasty named after Bibi Fatima, reigned in Egypt from 910 to 1171. (After 1094 = Mustealiens*). Founded by Imam Mehdi. The most powerful navy in the Mediterranean.

Fatimid Dai who left his master on a voyage to Maghreb in 902 after learning of the change of plans by the Imam. He was executed in Yemen.

220 A.H. - 315 A.H. (Pir during 242 A.H.).Born at Mohamedabad; named by Imam Raziyudin Abdullah who sent him to Magreb where hewitnessed the birth of the Fatimide empire. He had 4 sons.

(end of 4/10th Century) Dai and philosopher whose famous Ismaili Qasida were commented by Mohammed Sork* of Nisahpour* and Nassir Khusraw .

Huzur Mukhi who was sent as a guardian with the young Sayyed Imam Shah to Pirana. He is also buried at Pirana. A Granth has also been dedicated to him.

(857-922) Persian mystic influenced by ismailis and decapitated for declaring"An-al Haqq - I am the truth"; studied and translated by Massignon.

(404 - 458 A.H) declared as Pir in 448 A.H by Imam Mustansirbillah 1.After his death in Cairo in 458 A.H., his eldest son, SatGur Noor succeded him as Pir. He was a great traveller.

Contemporary of Pir Baba Hasem Shah. Great grand son of Pir Hassan Kabirdin.

Descendant of Pir Hassan Kabirdin by his son Sayyed Remtullah Shah. HE was also known as Pir Doola (m. 1792). Last Vakil*.

Died in Bombay in 1792. Descendant of Pir Hassan Kabirdin by his son Rehmtullah Shah*. Also known as Pir Doola*.

3A.H/625 - 507 A.H/671. Son of Hazart Ali and Bibi Fatima. 2nd Pir, member of Ahl-e-Bayt*. Acceded to Caliphate in 40A.H. Had 15 children. Was imprisoned by Muawiya. sv.Baqiya.

Imam Hassanali took back the Piratan after the death of Pir Ali Asgar Beg*. Later appointed Pir Mirza Qasim Ali. As per his wish, he was buried in Najaf.

(449 - 498 A.H) Dai. Born in Sirmin. Close friend of Hassan bin Sabbah*. Studiedat "Court of Dawat" and Dar-al-Hikmat*". Was found dead in 498 A.H.

Named by Imam Abd as-Salaam. Sent numerous dais to Turkey and Central Asia. Died during the Imamat of Imam Abuzar Ali.

(962-1038) Famous mathematician and physicist born in Basra. Imam Al-Hakim asked him to study and regulate the damage caused by the floods of the River Nile.

(9th Century) Nephew of Ibn. Hawshab* who sent him as a missionary to Sind in 270/884.

(2nd/8th Century). (born in730 AD). Called Geber in the West. Was the pupil of Imam Jafar Sadiq. Famous alchinist and author of 3,000 works including the "Balance of Letters" sv. PaulKraus.*

(8th Century) He was a Dai sent with Abu Sufiyan to Northern Africa by Imam Jafar Sadiq in 145/762-763.

Professor at Dar-ad-Diwan at Alep. Sent to Raqq to organise the influx of Ismaili immigrants whose destination wasAleppo.

Son of the general Jawhar* Was the Vazir of Imam Hakim who gave him the title "Qaid ul-Qudat" He had secrect dealings with Abu Rakwa* and was most probably executed.

626-680 (Imam in 661).Born in Madina .Led a quiet and tranquille life following the assination of H .Aly. On October 10 680, he became martyrs at Karbala with Imam Hussein and72 family members .

Lived in Kharadar, Karachi in the "Kothi de Hyder Shah"on Imamwara street.Was engaged to Imam Begum*. He is buried in a cemetery of Miran Pir. His mauseleum is at the cemetery.

Brethern of Purity. In 9th Century, a secrect society of Basra following Ismaili philosphy. They also compiled an encylopedia known as Rasail Ikhwan as-safa. Not to be confused with: a. Ikhwan as safa of 1960 in Cairo, the group that Massignon had dealings with. b. An educational group that was created by Prince Aly Khan in Syria. c. A society called Ikhwan (ahl e safa) that preached salvation through the sufferings of the body.

Encyclopedia of Ikhwan as safa* has 52 Volumes, the last volume "Risalat al Jamia" was written by Imam Taqi Mohammed.

Was engaged to Hyder Shah* and both are buried close to each other. Has composed approximately 20 ginans of which only half are known.

1452-1513. Born in Unch(Bhawalpur)sent to Gujrat by his father Pir Hasan Kabirdn.Was accompanyed by Huzur Mukhi Hajar Beg*. While on his way to Pirana, they stopped at the Jamat-Khana of Jhung-sind. Also known as Imamudin. Married Khatija, daughter of Sayyed Muhammad Bukhari and had 4 children: Baqir Shah*, Bala Shah*, Muhammad Shah and Khaliq Shah. Is buried at Pirana.

(151-202 A.H) second son of Imam Mohammed bin Ismail.Ismail Thani was named Pir at age 7. He had 7 sons. Not to be confused with Pir Salamudin who was also known as Indra Imamuddin.

Imam Shah *. Was not a Pir. Not to be confused with Pir Salamuddin or Pir Imamuddin.(all 3 of them are also known as Imamuddin)

(10C.) Author of "Al-Kitab al Muizzi", a culinary art book dedicated to Imam al-Muizz.

(7th Century) Son of Imam Abu Talib and H. Ali's brother. Led the first Muslims to Abyssinia.

(83AH/702-148AH/765.) Became Imam in 114 A.H. Sent Musa b. Abdullah Mahz* and Abdullah b. Moh'd b. Abdullah Mahz* to India. sv. Hulwani, Abu Sufian.
