The king and queen dwelt in their palace, and the five ministers ruled, o brother.

The summons, o brother, arrived from the Guide. Now how could they remain?

The summons arrived for two people. How could the third be taken?

baalak poddhaareo satee-e paraanne,

Unwillingly, the true lady put her child to sleep, and they set off for the Divine Lord's abode.

aradhee mejale raae jee aaveaa,

teeyaa(n) harannee dhavaraave baal................................6

The king came to his journey's halfway stage. A deer was suckling her fawn there.

baalak dekheene baaee ne paano chaddeeo,

tenne tajeeaa piraann.............................................7

When she saw the fawn, the lady's breasts became full of milk, and the breath left her body.

The summons, o brother, had come from the Guide. Now how could they remain?

The summons had come for two people. How could one go alone?

Spreading a sheet, he tied it up in a knot, and took it to the Divine Lord's abode.

Lamps of gold were shining before them. The Lord of the three worlds was sitting there.

O dear brother! Earn the Path by asking(seeking) the Guide. Then your tasks will become easy.

O dear brother! Your mother and father will reach the Eternal Abode. Brother your entire seventy one generations will get salvation.

e veeraa bhaai jeekar tannaa veeraa je jeev lobhee
te shaahnee beddeeye chaddshe sohelaajee.................3

O dear brother! The souls which are greedy for the remembrance of the Lord, o dear one, will board the boat of the Lord easily.

e veeraa bhaai aap mateelaa je man naa hattheelaa
bhaai te torannethee paachhaa vallashejee................4

O dear brother! The ones who live according to their own whims and desires and are arrogant, brother, will return from the arch(leading to the heavens).

e veeraa bhaai mohonaa meetthaa je deelnaa re khottaa
bhaai te vaanne chaddeene veegutaajee....................5

O dear brother! Those who are sweet of tongue and are false at heart, brother will go astray inspite of having boarded the vessel.

e veeraa bhaai moman moman yaaraa sab koi kahaave
bhaai moman te koi koi hoyshejee.........................6

O dear brother! Everyone calls himself a momin, but brother there are very few who are momins in the true sense.

e veeraa bhaai moman te je sehejere seeyaannaa
bhaai jyu(n) cha(n)dan pathar ghasejee...................7

O dear brother! A momin is the one who is naturally cool-minded. Brother, he is like sandlewood, the more it is rubbed on the stone, the more fragrance it exudes.

e veeraa bhaai moman te je aapnno aapaj vaare
bhaai ke saathe vaad na karejee..........................8

O dear brother! A momin is the one who controls himself completely. Brother he does not quarrel with anyone.

e veeraabhaai ek moman kamaai-j karshe
ek te mullagaa maa(n)he khoyshe-jee.......................9

O dear brother! One momin will perform only rewarding actions whereas the other will lose his capital.

e veeraabhaai cha(n)ddhr thaavar je shaahaa peerne na maane
bhaai te jeev kevaa fal leshejee.........................10

O dear brother! Those who do not remember the Master and the Guide on Chaandraat and the Thaavar(the night between Friday and Saturday), brother what kind of fruits will they reap?

e veeraabhaai khaaraa meetthaanee tame khabar-j jaanno
bhaai to vakhat vellaa kem chuko jee.....................11

O dear brother! When you know the entire details of the sour and the sweet, brother, why do you miss the time(of prayers).

e veeraabhaai bhanne sunne peernaa kahyaa na maane

O dear brother! Inspite of studying and hearing, if one does not follow the advice of the Guide, such a soul will cry on the Great Day.

e veerabhaai mahaadanmaa(n) royaa kuchh kaam na aave
bhaai te peer kahe pukaareejee......................13

O dear brother! Crying on the Great Day will be of no use. Brother, this is what is said by the Guide as a warning.

e veeraabhaai paddade betthaa shaah sahune peechhaanne
bhaaire na jaanne tethee alagaajee.................14

O dear brother! The Lord who is seated behind the curtain(in baatin) knows everybody. Brother do not consider Him to be remote.

e veeraabhaai alakh khudaava(n)d tame haajar dekho
bhaai to peerkee daaman pakaddojee.................15

O dear brother! Consider the indescribable God to be present. Brother, cling to the skirt of the Peer.

e veeraabhaai eso geenaan peer bhannaave sadardeen
bhaai fal sachaa yaaraa moman leshejee.............16

O dear brother! This ginaan is taught by Peer Sadardeen. Brother, the true momin friends will attain the fruits.

The Saviour of my deovotees has manifested in the city of Virchaa.

I climb high, I climb high to await the arrival of my True Guide.

Who has come and who will come and who will be coming in future.

Peer Sadardeen has come, Peer Kabeerdeen will come and Peer Imamdeen will be coming.

Who will be on the horse and who will be on the elephant and who will be on the horse playing music.

ejee peer sadardeen ghodde, peer kabeerdeen haathee-e;

peer imaamdeen turee(n)g to khaareeyaajee.........................7

Peer Sadardeen will be on the horse, Peer Kabeerdeen will be on the elephant and Peer Imamdeen will play music on a horse.

ejee maaro saamee raajo betthaa paalakheeye,

upar chaudees chamar ddhallaayaajee...............................8

My Majestic Lord is seated on a palanquin and all over it there are glittering decorations.

ejee du(n)gar upar deraddee,

teeyaa(n) vase chhe kanak sonaareeyaajee..........................9

Upon the hill is a temple(or a camp) in which resides a gold smith.

ejee sonee ghadde shaahaanee mu(n)daree,

ane maataajeeno nav lakho haareeyaajee...........................10

The goldsmith fashions the Lord's mundaree(earrings) and mother's necklace worth nine lakh units.

ejee peer sadardeen boleeyaa

maaraa moman bhaaee rahejo husheeyaareeyaajee....................11

Peer Sadardeen has spoken, "My momin brothers remain intelligent."

PARATAK PAATRA NE PARAKHEENE

ejee paratak paatra ne parkhee ne, preme pujonee paay
chauda bhraahmann no e dhannee, paragat chhe jugmaa(n)he.....1

Having recognised the Manifest Foam (of divinity, i.e Imaam of the time),
worship Him with love. He is indeed the Master of the fourteen universes
(seven heavens and seven earths) and is physically present in this age.

ejee paratak rupe haree aaveeyaa, aape dharee avataar
rachanaa rachaavee vaaso vasyaa, aape jug kirtaar............2

The Lord has come in the present form and has assumed Himself as
the physical Manifestion(Imaam). Having created the creation,
He has established His abode. He is indeed the Creator Himself.

ejee kudda kapatta ne ttaallvaa, paakha(n)d je jug maa(n)he
neermal karvaane pruthvee, aavyaa treebhovar raay............3

For the sake of annihilating the forces of evil, and the hypocrates of the age;
to purify the universe(of evil), the King of the three worlds has come.

ejee jogeeja(n)gam jugmaa(n) jotaa, fire vanvan farere udaas
darshan svapane paame nahi, neet kare jog apavaas............4

The (false) saints and sages are observed in the world,
wandering from jungle to jungle in melancholy and sadness
(for the enlightenment). However they will not attain the Vision
even in dreams and (inspite of) fasting daily (if they haven't
recognised the True Guide.)

ejee paratak rupe hari aavee-aa, ramataa ramataa re raam
maannas rupe jugamaa(n) aavee-aa, purann karavaane kaam......5

In the manifest form the Lord has arrived, as a King in a playful and
mysterious manner. He has come in this world in the form of a man to
complete and perfect the deeds (of or for the momins).

ejee bhagat kaarann hari aaveeyaa, aape dharee avataar
dai(n)t daannav ne sa(n)haarvaa, karvaa bhagatu nee saar.....6

For the sake of the true devotees, the Lord has arrived,
and has Himself taken up the Manifestation; to slay the
evil demon and to purify and perfect the devotees.

ejee maallee vinaare vaaddee nahi, praann vinaa nahi deh
jeevan paa(n)khe jug nahi, man vinchaareene teh..............7

Without a gardner, a garden cannot flourish and without breath,
a body cannot survive. Without life there is no universe,
reflect about this in your hearts(mind).

ejee maallee hashe tyaa vaaddee hashe, purann leelaa laher
seedhu(n) kareene see(n)chase dharee ne maher................8

Where there is a gardner, there will be a garden with thriving freshness.
With great care and skill, he will water it mercifully.

ejee maallee hashe tyaa(n) see(n)chase, van fall neetnavaa(n) thaay
satgur hashe tyaa(n) neepaje, dharamee neetnavaa(n) thaay....9

Where there is the Gardner, there He will water; and the fruits will thrive
with freshness and variety. (In the same manner) where there is the True
Guide, there the nourishment (of the soul) will take place and the devotees
will be renewed and enriched (in their faith).

ejee jenne gopee keraa(n) mahee luttyaa(n), maakhann khaadhaare chakor
aage karsanaa avtaar maa(n), maarag rag vinod...............10

The one who plundered the earthen pots filled with butter, of the Gopees,
and inflicted great loss of butter upon them cleverly (for a higher gain);
long ago at the time of Lord Krishnaa, the path was of mysterious play.

THIS VERSE NEEDS TO BE CLARIFIED.

ejee ajakal vaare avtareeyaa hari, das me avtaar
setar dipthee aavshe, jaaher ja(m)pudeep mi(n)jaar..........11

In the present age the Lord has manifested, as the tenth manifestation
of the Lord. He will come from the Arabian Peninsula and will make His
physical appearance in the Indian Subcontinent.

ejee tene jaannee ne tame ollakho, srevo yehee dayaall
hartaa fartaa ane bola(n)taa, rup madan gopaall.............12

Know Him and recognise Him (as the Manifestation), worship and
serve this Divine Light, while walking about, wandering and
speaking through the name of the Lord.

ejee bhanne peer i(n)ddhra imaamdeen, maaraa munivar bhaai
geenaan veemaras ne joi lee-o, praachhat sarve jaay.........13

Peer Indhra Imaamdeen teaches, O my believer brothers! Internalise the 'geenans',
having discussed and reflected upon them, then all your sins will disappear
(by virtue of the knowledge and wisdom thereof and the pleasure and joy gained thus).
[The joy of the higher removes the lower pleasures.]

First fulfil the commands of the True Guide. Secondly, conduct yourselves righteously and truthfully. (As the consequence of observing the two), in the third phase you will attain the substance or essence of life(correct vision and perspective), O dear brothers you will indeed attain it.

paa(n)chme pa(n)jbhu raakho ne vash
chhatthe sukarit vaavro veerabhaai vaavro..................2

The forth (statement) is that the ending of the present era has arrived. As the fifth (advice) keep the five vices(lust, anger, greed, attraction of the world and pride) under control. As the sixth (advice), perform good deeds as symbolised in the ingredients of 'sukreet'(patience, truth, remembrance of the Lord, tolerance and purity), o dear brothers perform them.

navme nav na(n)d paamsho viraabhaai paamsho................3

As the seventh (advice) partake in the essence of holy water. As the eighth (statement), you will have excessive rewards or graces. As the ninth (statement) you will attain the nine virtues(or perfect prosperity), o dear brothers, you will indeed attain them.

agee-aarme shaah bharpur
baare ba(n)dh chhuttashe veeraa bhaai chhuttshe............4

As the tenth (advice) submit the tithe and your enemies will keep away from you. As the eleventh (statement) the Lord will be felt everywhere(omnipresent). As the twelveth (statement), all the bondages will be broken. O brothers they will be broken.

ejee terme treebhovar shaam - chaudme(n) chit raakhone tthaam
pa(n)darme popfall paamsho veeraabhaai paamsho.............5

As the thirteenth (statement) the Lord of the three worlds is present. As the fourteenth (advice) keep conscious of the abode(of the Lord). As the fifteenth (statement) you will attain the fruits of roses(or flowers), o dear brothers, you will attain them.

satarme(n) varase aleejeenu(n) nur
addhaarme(n) duneeyaathee a(n)tar raho veeraabhaai a(n)tar raho.......................................................6

As the sixteenth (statement), you will be engulfed by the experience of the sixteen mansions of the moon(total light). As the seventeenth, Aly's noor will be showered unto you. As the eighteenth keep within yourself while encountering the world, O dear brothers, keep within.

ekveesme(n) veeraabhaai amar raho..........................7

As the nineteenth, have a relationship with the Jamaatkhaanaa('gurgatgangaa'). As the twenthieth, your Path has become perfect. As the twenty first, (you will) remain immortal.

Peer Satgurnur has said: "O my dear believers, you will cross over the limits of material existence and meet with the countless crores of liberated souls"(if you follow the guidance outlined).

First invoke the name of God. Through invoking His name, honoured sir, the soul is redeemed.

ejee naam geedde shaah teraa mol addaayaa

By invoking His name, the Lord has caused a palace to be built for you and plastered it with gold.

ejee mol addaayaa shaah teraa jarukhaa jaddaayaa
us maa(n)he moman muneevar zule..............................3

The Lord has caused a palace to be built for you and added a balcony to it, on which the pious believers swing.

ejee shaah peer doy meelee karee betthaa
moman kol tamaaraa sa(m)bhaarojee............................4

The Master(Imaam) and the Guide(Pir) both sit waiting together. O believers, remember your promises.

ejee nav paa(n)teeyu(n) tame neeratsu(n) raakho
bhaai dasho(n)d saahebjeene aalo.............................5

Nine parts you may comfortably keep. Give the tenth part to the Master, brothers.

Retain and enjoy with satisfaction the nine parts (of your earnings), brother submit the tithe to the Imaam of the time.

During the first era of Kartaa, the Path was golden and the Lord's stage or'paat'
(as in ghatpaat) was also golden. Lord Narsang was seated on a golden throne
as the king. Through the supplications and invocations of the Guide, the Creator
(Prophetic Light), the place was decorated and was shining with glory. Sprinkle
the Lord with yellowish and golden particles.
