avar so mundraa dhaari re jogi ...

Eji Kan keri mundraa jogi dagamag dole,
manaki mundraa saari re jogi - jogi so 1

Man meri mundraa tan sarovar kaayaa,
andar bhabhut lagaayaa re jogi - jogi so 2

Kaachi kaayaa pavan aadhaari,
jesi nir bhari paari re jogi - jogi so 3

Paari re bhagasi sab nir ddhulannaa,
e pind kuchh kaam na kaaraa re jogi - jogi so 4

Cheto cheto munivar mere bhaai,
ayi he paap khanddhata keri vaari re jogi- jogi so 5

Hasataa khelantaa Shaah nagari me aayaa,
so jogi jenne jug moyaare jogi- jogi so 6

Ginaan mahaaras bhanne Pir Hasan Kabirdin,

A true devotee (ascetic) is he who is always a devotee,
Others are only the wearers of earings(a symbol of a devotee).
O devotee! The earings of gold dangle in the ears
(to make show of your being a devotee),
But a better earing (symbol of a devotee) is a (sincere) mind, O devotee!
