Princess Salimah: My name is Salimah Aga Khan, and I was asked to be the first
International Ambassador for SOS Children’s Villages. I had already been devoted to SOS
Children’s Villages since 1995.
Sameera Gokal: What exactly is your role as an ambassador for SOS?
Princess Salimah: It is … to do as I’m told (laughing). My role is to be a bridge between SOS

I would like to express our thanks and appreciation to Her Majesty for having made this visit to London to open the exhibition of Mr Nicholas Egon's paintings of Jordan.
Jordan inhabited since the earliest ages known to man, is a land in which many great civilisations have flourished, each leaving a precious legacy.
