AGA KHAN WILL NOT ATTEND SUMMIT - 2000-08-01

Mowlana Hazir Imam will not attend the World Religious Leader Summit, even though last year an article suggested this: 'The United Nations is to extend its peacekeeping role into spiritual territory next year by hosting its first summit for world religious leaders, bringing together the likes of the Pope, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Aga Khan and the Grand Mufti live on television.' wrote Jonathan Petre in an article published in 1999.
