UGAMIYA SOHI DIN AATHAMIYA
Sayyed Muhammadshah
The sun that riseth (undoubtably) setteth; that which blossometh (surely) withereth; the erected building crusheth down and that which is born dieth. ...1
Refrain: O wasp like mind thou art greedy thou hast been tempted by the temptations of the world. This vision is transient (lit. of four days). Ultimately one is destined to turn into dust.
The kevda (kind of fragrant tree) hath commenced drying up, water-wheel too is broken, the oxen (working the water-wheel) have stopped walking. (Even) tiller himself hath parted.
