Eji Utar khandd maanhe shaah ni jot jaagevaa,
shaah naa purakh mile parketaa hojire bhaai 1

Eji Paranne pruthvinun mawlaa kaayaam saami,
shaah naa lagan mahaadan levaa - hojire bhaai 2

Eji Maahaare lagan shaahnaa punam chanddhr,
shaah ni utar khandd maanhe jot jaagevaa - hojire bhaai 3

Eji Jaago jaagore gur maarag chalannaa,
tame saachaa ne sachaa yaaraa - hojire bhaai 4

Eji Unni-aachaari kal maanhe ochheru chaale,
saaheb te paapi ne parhari-aa - hojire bhaai 5

Eji Parnindaa gaari ne avichaari,
bhaai taasu sangat na kariye - hojire bhaai 6

Eji Gur divore Pir aapnnu ji,
jenne dharam maarag dikhlaayaa- hojire bhaai 7

Eji Dikhlaayaa re ham so saaheb paayaa,
shaah ne motidde chok puraayaa - hojire bhaai 8

Eji Pop parmal agar kasturi
shaah ne ami-naa chhaanttann huaa - hojire bhaai 9

Eji Sat raakhiyore raajaa pahelaaj,
jenaa thanbh futti ne saariyaa kaaj - hojire bhaai. 10

Eji Sat raakhiyo re Taaraa raanni Lochanaa,
sat raakhiyo Harischandra raajaa - hojire bhaai 11

Eji Sat raakhiyo re paanche Paanddve,
sat raakhiyo Maataa Kuntaa - hojire bhaai 12

eji utar kha(n)dd maa(n)he shaah nee jot jaagevaa,
shaah naa purakh meele parketaa ho jirebhaai..................1

O momins: When the Lord's light shines in the north continent,
then complete recognition(and understanding) of the Lord is
attained O dear brother.

[This is alluding to the first spiritual experience a momin gets
by observing a certain method of meditation. This is the region
of the forehead between the two eye brows called 'bhamar goofaa'
