maherbaan bi Ali tunhi tun 1

Rab tun rahemaan tun;
Ali aval aakhar kaaji tunhi tun 2

Te upaayaa te nipaayaa;
sirjannhaar bi tunhi tun 3

Jal thal mul manddann haarnaa;
Ali hukam teraa bi tunhi tun 4

Teri dostie boliyaa Pir Shams;
me bandaa teraa Ali tunhi tun 5

You are the Just, You are the Sinless,
Oh Ali the Gracious Heavenly King, You are indeed all.

rab tu(n) rahemaan tu(n) ya ali aval akhar kazi tu(n)hi tu........2

You are the Sustainer, You are the Merciful,
Oh Ali, You are the First and the Last Judge, You are indeed all.

te upaayaa te nipaayaa sirjann haar ya ali tu(n)hi tu.............3

You are the one who originated and You are the one who created,

You are the Just, You are the Faultless, O Lord!

You are also Gracious, O our Lord Ali. ...1

You are the Cherisher and the Sustainer,

and You are the Merciful, O Ali.

You are the First and the Last Judge ...2

You originated and You created, O Lord!

O Ali, You are the Maker also. ...3

In the water and on the land, O Ali,

You have laid the roots (of creation)

and they are at Your command. ...4

In Your friendship says Pir Shams,

"I am Your captive, You are my all in all". ...5

Pir Shams

You are the Eternal Truth, And You are the Holiest Divine Being. To You belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Most gracious also are You, O Ali, You and none else but You.

You are the Sustainer of all beings, and Most Merciful are You.

The Beginning of all things is from You, And the end of everything is unto You. You and none else but You.

You have created, and further, You have given order and proportion to your creation. Indeed, you brought everything into existence, O Ali, You and none else but You.
