Khadiya padiya delidiaa bethiyaa mede bhaai

Eji Khaddiyaa paddiyaa lettiyaa bettiyaa
mede bhaaive,
hardam saami raajo sanbhaariye 1

O my brother! While standing or lying down, reclining or sitting, remember the Kingly Lord upon every breath.

Eji Jarame bhalame mede bhaaive;
gatt pad saami raajo sanbaariye 2

O my brother! On land or in water, in a valley or a path-way (mountainious road or levelled path) keep on remembering the Kingly Lord.

Eji Deshthi pardesh aaviyaa mede bhaaive;
pardesh desh sadhaarso 3

O my brother! From your home country (original abode), you have arrived at a foreign country. From this foreign country you will return to your home country.

Eji Kiyaa lehi aaviyaa is duniyaadhe
vich mede bhaaive;
tusaa jaai to kiyaa lehi jaaesi 4

O my brother! What have you brought along with you take back when you return.

Eji Gumanaa firanaa is dujiaande
vich mede bhaaive;
fir esaa latu na paaesi 5

O my brother! You have not come here to wander aimlessly in this world. You will not get such an opportunity again.

Eji Ajabh ajaaebh raahaa lehi aaeaa
is duniaade vich mede bhaaive;
tusaa raadedhaa fal paaesi 6

O my brother! You have come here with a wonderful and glorious purpose. You will reap according to what you sow.

Eji Aka aambaa dhraakhaa ruhiaa
mede bhaaive;
tusaa savaad faledhaa paaesi 7

O my brother!A swaloow wort, a mangoe, grape or cotton. You will get the taste of what you sow.

Eji Tobaa saari bandenu loddie
mede bhaaive;
hi kaayaa kaachi kaam na aaesi 8

O my brother! Man should repent sincerely, this raw body will be of no use to you.

Eji Hath vich kaam mukh vich saami raajo
sanbhaarie mede bhaaive;
maang fajal baanaa fal paaesi 9

O my brother! With hands occupied in work and the tongue engaged in the remembrance of the Kingly Lord; the fruits are attained if the the grace is sought.

Eji Gofte Pir Hassan Kabirdin
mede bhaaive;
yaa Shaah bhulannaa nu maarag langaaesi 10

O my brother! Pir Hasan Kabirdeen says: "The Lord will restore those who have gone astray on the right path."
