Prince Hussain was born in Geneva, Switzerland on April 10, 1974 and attended Deerfield Academy and subsequently Williams College, from which he graduated in 1997. Since then, Prince Hussain has been based in France and working with the Aga Khan Trust for Culture. Following completion of a master’s degree in international affairs from Columbia University in 2004, Prince Hussain married Princess Khaliya (nee Kristin White) at the picturesque Chateau of Chantilly in September 2006 in a religious ceremony.
