Prince Karim Aga Khan arrived in Islamabad Tuesday evening. He would meet President Musharraf and Prime minister Jamali, before leaving on a one day visit of Chitral on Thursday. At Chitral the Aga Khan is scheduled to address his followers at Garam Chashma and Booni, besides attending a luncheon arranged by the district administration at the Scouts Officers Mess. Though the Aga Khan is scheduled to return to Islamabad the same day but incase of bad weather, he would be staying at the Hindukush Heights Hotel, as learnt here. Meanwhile Chitral is teeming with Ismailis from all over not only Pakistan but from Iran, Afghanistan Turkmenistan, South Africa etc. The Markets are full of visiting guests and the Hotels and shops are doing good business. In Booni and Garam Chashma where there are not many Hotels, visitors have been accommodated with the local population. The majority Sunni population of Chitral is also looking forward enthusiastically to the Aga Khan's visit. Welcome arches and Gates are being erected on his route from the airport to the polo ground and the officers mess through the Bazaar.
