You will have to die for certain, therefore be mindful in whatever you do. The fort of your body is well built. Five elements (fire, water, air, dust and soul) are it's foundations or five five virtues (patience, truth, faith, forgiveness and remembrance).

ejee kaayaa nagree maa(n)he hai man raajaa

chaitan nur maa(n)he nur...jug maa(n)he......................2

In the city of the body, the heart is the king, but the essential vitality comes from light upon light(endless soul).

ejee nur svarupee chaitan karee jaanno

kaayaa maayaa sarve kudd...jug maa(n)he......................3

Know the form of the essential vitality as that of Light. This body and the illusiory existence is evil.

ejee kaayaa nagree maa(n)he paa(n)ch chor vase chhe

tame chetee chaalo man mudd...jug maa(n)he...................4

In the city of the body there are five thieves(vices) viz, kaam - carnal desire; krodh - anger; lobh - greed; moh - love for the world; mad or ahu(n)kaar - vanity and pride. O ignorant! Be careful.

ejee kaayaa nagarime ek bhae chhe bhaaree

ek din kaall kare chakchur...jug maa(n)he....................5

This city of the body faces a great fear that one day death will smash it to pieces.

ejee karo hushiyaari satgur chetaave

tame naam lio nirmal nur....jug maa(n)he.....................6

The True Guide warns: apply your intelligence(through knowledge and reflection) and take the name of the Pure Light.

ejee daan sakhaavat hardam keeje

khameeyaa dayaa enu mull....jug maa(n)he.....................7

Always do charity. The virtues of forgiveness and mercy are it's roots.

ejee kahet imaam begam suno mere bhaai

tame rahejo satgurke huzur...jug maa(n)he....................8

Sayyada Imaam Begum says: listen o my brother. Remain in the presence of the True Guide.
