March 3, 1913 - Sir Sultan Mohamed Shah, Aga Khan III gave evidence before the Royal Commission on the Public Services in India. He spoke of his views on the Indian Civil Service, bringing Sanskrit and Arabic on the same level as Greek and Latin, encouraging Persian literature, Indian administration and Indian history and the advantages of teaching Englishmen oriental culture, among other such topics.
