Hazar Imam sponsored 'Azzurra' on behalf of Italy for the America's Cup International Boat Race at Newport, Rhode Island. With the aid of Gianni Agnelli of Fiat and a consortium of 17 Italian corporations, $4 million was generated to inaugurate the launch by Begum Salimah of the Azzurra. (click here)
