The soil of Africa was blessed with the Holy visit of our spiritual father this month when he arrived in Leopoldville, Congo, for one day on Saturday, January 8. He came to attend the foundation ceremony of the new 20 storey building of I.P.S. But due to the prevalent corruption of that time, that building could not be constructed. On 24th May 1967, in the following year Mowlana Hazar Imam sent a Talika explaining how originally the three Belgium contractors who submitted the tender had colluded, and the Italian Contractor was on the ground before the building permit expired but was not able to start due to government constraint and so on. The Imam said in his Talikah that he understood the disappointment of the Jamat that the building would not be constructed.
