They both attended the marriage ceremonies of Shah-en-Shah of Iran. Sir Sultan Mohamed Shah, Aga Khan III gave Holy Deedar to thousands of Ismailis in Mahalat.

Posted March 17th, 2009 by heritageWhen the 'Times', London made some unfair allegations against Islam and the Muslims in a leading article in October 1951, His Royal Highness sent a spirited reply to that newspaper which was published in its next issue of November 6, 1951. He explained that it was because of the spirit of tolerance of Islam that even the smallest Christian and Jewish minorities had survived and kept all their doctrines during the thousand years of Muslim rule.
