Wednesday, 2006, September 20 - India: His Highness the Aga Khan spent 4 days in India. He met officials in Dehli, layed the foundation stone of the AgaKhan Academy in Hyderabad, and also met with his followers.
2006, September 16: Aiglemont, France: Prince Hussain Aga Khan Marries Miss Kristin J. White (Princess Khaliya)- A religious marriage ceremony was held at Chateau Chantilly. Members of the Leaders International Forum represented the Jamat at the wedding ceremony. On the day before, a civil marriage ceremony took place at Aiglemont, the Aga Khan’s family home in France. The marriage was officiated by the Mayor of Gouvieux, Mr. Patrice Marchand.
2006, October 28-29: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan - His Highness the Aga Khan made a brief visit to Bishkek where he met with a wide range of Krygyz leaders, including President Kurmanbek Bakiev, Prime Minister Feliks Kulov and senior parliamentarians. During the visit, the Aga Khan discussed new opportunities for local and regional economic development, as well as expansion of social development initiatives currently underway in various provinces of the Kyrgyz Republic.
2006, October 30-31: Tajikistan - H.H. The Aga Khan visited Tajikistan. He joined President Rahmonov on the 30th in a groundbreaking ceremony for a world-class Serena Hotel in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The same day the two also visited the Ismaili Center construction site in Dushanbe. Next day on October 31st, President Rahmonov and His Highness leave for Gorno Badakhshan to inaugurate a bridge across the Panj River in the Ishkashim district. The Aga Khan is also visiting the Pamirs Botanical Gardens and the site of the future campus of the University of Central Asia (UCA) in Khorog.
2006, October 25: Ottawa, Canada - HH The Aga Khan came to Ottawa, Canada for a short private visit to sign a funding agreement for the Global Centre for Pluralism to be established in partnership with the Government of Canada. He also held other meetings related to the Global Centre for Pluralism and other major Imamat projects in Canada. At 4:00 p.m. Prime Minister Stephen Harper met with His Highness the Aga Khan at the House of Commons. After the signing, they had dinner at the PM's residence at 24 Sussex Dr.
2006, November 10: Kampala, Uganda: HH Aga Khan opened the Serena Hotel with President Yoweri Museveni. He also met with Prime Minister Professor Apollo Nsibambi, the Minister of Works and Transport Engineer John Nasasira, that of Energy and Minerals Mr. Daudi Migereko, State Minister for Industry Mr. Ephraim Kamuntu, and that of State for Investment Professor Semakula Kiwanuka.

2006, November 3: Hunza, Pakistan - Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall and the Aga Khan visited the Altit area of Hunza to see the development work being carried out by the Aga Khan Development Network.
2006, Friday November 10 - Brussels, Belgium: Princess Gabriele Inaara Begum Aga Khan attended a symposium on 'Corporate Culture and Spirituality - Business and Ethics - Complementary or Contradictory ?' at the European Parliament.
2006, November 30-December 4: Karachi, Pakistan: Prince Karim Aga Khan arrived on Thursday for a five-day visit to Pakistan. Sindh Governor, Dr Ishratul Ebad, Sindh Home Adviser, Wasim Akhtar, and other high-ups received the guest at the Quaid-e-Azam International Airport. Later, Prince Karim Aga Khan held a meeting with Ebad at the Governor’s House, during which matters related to education, health, industrial progress and investment were discussed.
