June 3, 1919 - Sir Sultan Mohamed Shah, Aga Khan III and Sayyid Ameer Ali sent a letter to 'the Times', London, regarding the post-war future of Turkey, printed on 6 June 1919. 'At this critical moment, we regarded duty as citizens of the British Empire to plead once more for a considerate hearing at the Peace Conference of the Mussalman case on behalf of Turkey.' ([1] 633)
