Kal jug aaviy utaavro
Eji Kaljug aaviyo utaavalo,
tame saanbharo muman bhaai ji;
jenne jive Sat Gur orakhiyaa;
te kare chhe aanand 1
O momins! The present age has arrived and it is fast-paced, listen o brother momins. The souls that have recognised the Trude guide are enjoying.
Eji Beej Sukarvaari sreviye,
ane sanpat evaa daan jire bhaai;
jaajun jaanni ne je jiv bhulse,
te jaase bhavsaagar maanhe 2
O momins! Observe the Shukravari beej and give charity according to your means. If a soul having known much is forgetful, will be drowned in the ocean of material existence.
Eji Khari kasotti kasaaviye,
ane sukrit lije jivni saath jire bhaai;
kasanni aapnnaa jivaddaane dijie,
to sahi amraapuri vaas 3
O momins! Undergo genuine rigours of discipline and take along with you sukrit (good deeds), o brother. Give your soul rigourous discipline, then you will indeed have an abode in the Eternal City.
Eji Samudar maanhe vaann jem doltaa dekho,
ane saaher beddi maanhe bhaar ji;
bhaai vichaar karine vaami naakhsho,
to utarsho pele paar 4
O momins! As you observe the (heavily loaded) ship swaying in the ocean, in the same manner the ship of the (material) ocean is laden with heavy load; unload your yourselves after reflection. Then you will reach the other shore (swiftly).
Eji Jenaare ghar maan sarkaar khaadhi,
ane ttako paiso badaam jire bhaai;
em kari tame jaannjo,
jem maahaa darie bhaangiyo vaann 5
O momins! In whose house the wealth of the authority has been devoured o brother, no matter how small the amount; consider it as the ship in the great ocean being broken.
Eji Chetannhaaraa tame chetjo,
evaa aaviyaa aagam endhaann ji;
bhaai sehkaddaa kedde chaitar chilotaro,
aapnno saami raajo thaase asvaar 6
O momins! The vigilant ones be vigilant, such is the forewarning which has been given. O brother, centuries later the Kingly Lord will be manifest (to the world).
Eji Khodde khodde dal aavse,
ane chinnab nagri paas;
bhaai khe udde aasmaane chaddshe;
chando suraj chhupse 7
O momins! From every corner the armies will arrive and it will be at the city of Chinab. Dust will blow and rise to the heavens, covering the sun and the moon.
Eji Aandhalo hoe te pann laakaddi tthakore,
ane te pann naa bhule vaatt jire bhaai;
munivar hoe te ginaan vichaare,
te uvaatte nav jaae 8
O momins! Just as a blind man supported by a stick does not forget the way, even so a believer (in search of the Unknown) through contemplating the Ginan, does not go astray.
Eji Paarasmanni Gur-e momin ne didhi,
ane tiyaan anddhaaraa kem hoy ji;
maaraa munivar hoe te ginaan vichaare,
to muman saachaa yaar 9
O momin! The Guide has given a momin a philosopher's stone, then how can it be darkness for this person there? My momins contemplate upon the Ginans, these momins are indeed my true friends.
Eji Tame rikhisar tapasi puraa,
ane teninaa poti sandh jire bhaai;
aajkaal kartaan Kaljug bharaanno,
teni poti chhe re sandh ji 10
O momin! You believers, be fully reflective and careful, then you will not be influenced or effected by time. The present era is full of those who live by today/tomorrow, they are influenced and effected by time.
Eji Pir Shah je parsaade boliyaa,
Pir boliyaa Hasan Shaah,
saami raajaa lajaa raakhannhaar;
laaj-j raakho maaraa muman-ni e moraar 11
O momin! Through the mediation/blessings of PirShah (Imam), Pir Hasan Shah has spoken. O Kingly Lord who are the preserver of honour and dignity, preserve the honour and dignity of my momins, O Merciful.
