YAA ALI KHUB MAJAALAS JINAT KAR-KE BY SAYYED
yaa ali khub majaalas jinat kar-ke, phiras bichhaai gaali
aan baetthe haye takhat upar, sulataan mahamad shaahaa vaali
aaj raaj mubaarak hove, nur aen ali ku(n) raaj mubaarak hove
shaahaa aal-e nabi ku(n) raaj mubaarak hove,
hove hove aaj raaj mubaarak hove..................................1
O Ali, in the fair assembly gloriously adorned, with carpets spread upon the floor, Sultan Muhammad Shah the Lord has ascended the throne.
Blessed be your rule today! Blessed be your rule, o light of Ali's eyes! Blessed be your rule, o Lord, descendant of the Prophet! Blessed be your rule today!
yaa ali didaar lene ku(n) aae shaahaa teri, hindi jamaaet saari
shaahaa bajaa-kar najaraa(n) deve, jaan apanni ku(n) vaari........2
O Ali, to gain vision of you, Lord, your entire Indian community has come. They duly present their offerings, Lord, devoting their lives to you.
yaa ali teraa nasibaa roj-e aval se, detaa hae re kamaali
shaahaa ali shaahaa ke mukh me(n) se nikalaa,
sulataan mahamad shaahaa vaali....................................3
O Ali, from the First Day your fortune has bestowed greatness upon you. Lord, from the lips of Lord Ali Shaah there issued the words: 'Sultan Muhammad Shah is the Lord.'
yaa ali shaahaa kahu to tu(n)jah ku(n) bajaave,
bakhat bula(n)d peshaani
chhottee umar me(n) aale maratabaa, taalu ki nishaani.............4
O Ali, to call you 'Lord' is your due, for you bear the signs of noble fortune on your brow. At this young age your rank is lofty, betokening your greatness.
yaa ali takhat ne chhatra tu(n)jah ku(n) mubaarak,
jeheraa ji ke piyaare
abul hasan shaahaa karani so teri, jinat aap savaare..............5
O Ali, blessed be your royal throne and umbrella, o beloved descendant of the Lady Zahra. Your power comes from the father of Lord Hasan, enhancing your glory.
yaa ale takhat ne chhatra sun-ke tere, phalak she barase nuraa
moti tabaakaa haathu(n) me(n) le-kar,
shaahaa ku(n) vadhaave huraa(n)...................................6
O Ali, at the news of your coronation, light pours down from heaven. With plates of pearls in their hands, the houris shower offerings upon the Lord.
yaa ali mehemaan-khaane me(n) moman ku(n) jab, laae id musale
shamasi jo salavaat paddh-kar, maaraphat ki khushiyaali...........7
O Ali, when the believers in the guest-house celebrate this occasion as at Id, they recite the Shamsi prayer and experience the delights of spiritual enlightenment.
yaa ali teri mubaarak-baadi ke khaatar, sayad karate munaajaat
shaahaa najaph tere pushat-panah, tere dushaman hoy phanaa........8
O Ali, to offer you his congratulations, this Sayyid submits his humble prayer: may the Lord of Najaf be your protector, and may your enemies be destroyed!
