SATPA(N)TH SATNU(N) MUKH CHHE
BY PEER HASSAN KABEERDEEN

ejee satpanth satnu(n) mukh chhe, ane jeebheeyaa het preet
naasikaa e shaahpeernu(n) naam chhe
khameeyaa dayaa doy ddhrashtt................................1

The True Path is the mouth of the Truth and it's tongue is love
and affection. It's nose (through which one breathes the life giving air) is
the name of the Master and the Guide and patience and mercy are it's two eyes.

ejee geenaan devnu(n) man chhe, ane paalav vaayek veechaar
sa(n)tosh devnu(n) sej chhe, kaa(n)i deet devnaa ahaar.......2

The 'Geenaan' (Divine knowledge and wisdom) is the heart (mind) of the Lord,
and His hands(supports) are the guidances and (sublime) thoughts.
Contentment is the bed of the Lord, and all the various rituals (charities) are His food.

ejee sadgunn devnaa sarvann chhe, jap tap chhe be paann
aa dharam devnee dehee chhe, thudd pag chhe paramaann........3

The virtues are the ears of the Lord, and meditation (remembrance of the Lord)
and abstinence are the two legs. The Religion is the body of the Lord of which
the legs are the supports (as the trunk of the tree).

ejee aakaash devnu(n) mastak chhe, paataall devnaa paay
devne kaall nahee nee(n)ddhraa nahee
mahaa reekhee raay devne dheeyaay............................4

The heavens are the head of the Lord and the undersurfaces are the feet.
The Lord has no death nor sleep. The great kings worship the Lord.

ejee man popnee pujaa chadde, gur mukhe prasan thaay
tame satee lok seerevjo, aavaagamann-naa feraa jaay..........5

popnee - of blossom
prasan - happy
aavaagamann - metampsychosis

When the mind(heart) blossoms, worship arises, and through the mouth
(guidance) of the Guide there is happiness. You devoted souls, worship
(the Lord), then all your bondages of the past lives will vanish.

ejee jakh navaannu(n) karodd seedhaa, ane chhapan karodd megh raay
kinar karodd batrees seedhaa, terees karodd devtaay..........6

Ninety nine crores (990 million) "jakhs" were on the Right Path, and fifty six
crores (560 million) "meghs" became the kings (rulers of the spiritual world).
Thirty two crores (320 million) "keenars" were on the Right Path and together
with the thirty three crore spirits.

ejee karodd paa(n)ch su(n) pahelaaj seedhaa
ane saatesu(n) hareecha(n)ddr mugat huvaa
karodd navesu(n) raajaa jujeshtthann seedhaa
baare peer sadardeen ollakhyaa...............................7

Five crores were saved by Pahelaaj and seven crores achieved salvation
through Harischandhra. Nine crores were led on the Truth by King
Jujeshtthann and twelve crores recognised Peer Sadardeen
(and hence were liberated).

ejee kaljug sa(n)dhe anat karoddnu(n)
peer hasanshaahne shaahe var aaleeyaa
avataar dashmo deelmaa(n) dharee
ghatt kallash rupe sahee thaapeeyaa..........................8

In the final ending of present age, Peer Hassan Shaah has been given
the promise of salvation by the Imaam (Shaah) of the countless crores to come.
The Lord assumed the tenth manifestation in His heart and in truth, by
assuming the form of the vessel of holy water (water of mercy), He created (the universes).

ejee jyaa(n) kallash thaay ghatt thaapnaa
gateeyu(n) kare amrat vaann
mawlaanaa charannthee paatak ttalle
upage praann snaan...........................................9

Where the ceremony of the partaking of holy water from the vessels is established,
the congregation participates in holy conversations (recitations of geenaans).
From the feet of the Lord (Imaam), all the sins are removed
and the bathing of the life takes place.

ejee tame gat so hete meelo
meelee raakho dhanneesu(n) dhyaan
maa(n)ho maa(n)he mello meelo
eko ekne samaan.............................................10

Meet in the congregation with love and having met thus, focus your
attention towards the Master. Have a mutual gathering where
everyone is equal to the other.

ejee veeraa evere mane aaraadh kartaa
hove te aleenee sudh
jenne maankhaa deheemaa(n) aavaa shaah peer meeleeyaa
tene huvaa chhe nav na(n)d..................................11

Brothers, those who adore which such a heart (mind), will attain the
recognition of Ali (in His Divine nature). Those who have attained
such a Lord in the human bodily form have indeed had the nine
(supreme) virtues or perfect prosperity.

ejee aaj beej sukravaaree seereveeye, nees hove neeseejal man
gur gatsu(n) aaraadh kartaa, thaaiye bahu paavan............12

If one observes the 'sukravaaree beej' today, he will certainly
be as pure as water. If one adores the Lord in the presence of
the Guide and the 'Jamaat', he/she becomes very sacred.

ejee farmaan maano to feraa ttallo,
peershaah kahetaa utareeye pele paar
tame sate amaraapuree paamsho
sahee jaannjo neerdhaar.....................................13

Follow the Farmaans so that you may overcome (the bondages of)
the (repeated) cycles of rebirths. Through the guidance of the
Guide and the Master, one crosses over the limits of material
existence. Through the adherance to the Truth you will attain
paradise. Know this as the truth for certain.

ejee satpa(n)th soll kallaasu(n) ugamyo
jem ugeeyo shasheeyar cha(n)ddhr
jenne saaheb seereveeyaa hek man
te kare chhe aana(n)d.......................................14

The True Path has shone like the splendour of the sixteen mansions
of the moon, and indeed like the moon risen in the fullness of it's light.
Those who have worshipped (served) the Imaam with one mind
(heart) are indeed in a joyful state.

ejee hayzee(n)daa kahetaa hastee nu(n) daan
kaayam paayaa kahetaa daan turee(n)g
tame satee lok seerevjo
bhaai amar gaddh paamo aagalle..............................15

By pronouncing 'hayzee(n)daa' in 'Jamaatkhaanaa' one does the charity
equivalent (in value) to an elephant. If one pronounces 'kaayam paayaa'
one does charity equivalent in value to a horse. You saintly people worship
(with that understanding), brothers you will attain immortal fortresses
(of security and peace) ahead.

ejee ruddo amargaddh amraapuree, tame saa(m)bhallo moman veer
saache imaane shaahne seerevajo
em boleeyaa peer hasan kabeerdeen...........................16

The immortal fort of paradise is indeed beautiful. Listen O momin brothers.
Worship the Lord (Imaam) with true faith. This has been
said by Peer Hassan Kabeerdeen.
