AAVORE MAARAA MUNEEVAR BHAAIDDAA HOJEE
BY PEER SADARDEEN

aavore maaraa muneevar bhaaiddaa hojee
pachham deeshe aapannu(n) raaj du-aar
em gur bole madhuree vaanneeyaajee.........................1

Come o my brethren and believers. In the horizons of the west
relative to the Indian Sub Continent) lies the doorstep to your (spiritual)
kingdom. This is spoken by the Guide in a sweet and melodious manner.

aavore maaraa muneevar bhaaiddaa hojee
tene kaa(n)dhe musalo ne sat srevo
eto chhe tam gurnee vaachaajee.............................2

Come o my brethren and believers. Lay the prayer mat upon His shoulders
(let him support you spiritually) and worship (serve) the truth.
This is the utterance of your Guide.

aavore maaraa muneevar bhaaiddaa hojee
sevaane kaarann tamane sutaa jagaaddayaa
aapanne te gurne jai-e balhaaree-aa jee....................3

Come o my fellow brethren and believers. For the sake of service or worship,
He has woken you up from the sleep (of complacency).
We should all go and surrender ourselves to such a Guide.

aavore maaraa muneevar bhaaiddaa hojee
dharam varshe tyaa(n) veela(m)b na keeje
eto vaaraa nee neeshaanee yaa jee..........................4

Come o my fellow brethren and believers. Do not procrastinate to attend
the place where the religious practices (rites and ceremonies) take place.
It symbolises the presence of the Manifestation of the Lord (Haazar Imaam).

aavore maaraa muneevar bhaaiddaa hojee
vaaraa vakhaanno ne paatra peechhaanno
evaa halatra kamaavo moraa bhaaiddaa jee...................5

Come o my fellow brethren and believers. Praise the Manifestation and
recognise the (genuine) container (for placing your charities).
Such are the rewarding deeds that you should earn in this life.
(This refers to the submission of the tithe to the true reciever).

aavore maaraa muneevar bhaaiddaa hojee
tenee jaat ismaail ne gotra mawlaa alee
eto veeshnu(n) shaahaa neezaareeyaa jee....................6

Come O my fellow brethren and believers. His race is that of Ismail
and he is the progeny of Mawlaa Aly. He is indeed Lord Vishnu and
the Imaam from the Nizari branch of Shism.

aavore maaraa muneevar bhaaiddaa hojee
tene neechu(n) namee namee ka(n)th lekhee je
aapanne gurjee ne paay paddeejee-ejee......................7

Come O my fellow brethren and believers. Express your loyalty by
bowing down and falling at the feet of your Guide.

aavore maaraa muneevar bhaaiddaa hojee
sat veenaa beddee ddubann laagee
tame kem karee paar la(n)gashojee..........................8

Come o my fellow brethren and believers. Without the truth, the boat will sink.
Then how will you cross over the shores of the ocean of material existence.

aavore maaraa muneevar bhaaiddaa hojee
tan keeje beddalee ne man keeje vaachaa
evaa satsu(n) paar la(n)geeje jee..........................9

Come o my fellow brethren and believers. Let your body be the boat
and make a promise (to be steadfast in the path) in your heart (mind).
Thus in this manner you will cross over the limits(shores) truly.

aavore maaraa muneevar bhaaiddaa hojee
saach kamaavo ne jutth-j chhoddo
to tame hoyasho shaahaanaa deedaaree yaajee...............10

Come o my fellow brethren and believers. Earn the truth and shun
all the falsehood. Then you will be the recipients
(or the ones longing for) the Vision of the Lord (Imaam).

aavore maaraa muneevar bhaaiddaa hojee
sarage jaataa shaahaa maaro haatheeddu(n) deshe
jo tame hoyasho sachaa yaareeyaajee.......................11

Come o my fellow brethren and believers. The Lord
(Imaam) will give you a hand (assistance) in going to the heavens,
if you will remain true friends of Him (are loyal to him).

aavore maaraa muneevar bhaaiddaa hojee
eso geenaan peer bhannaave sadardeen
sachaa saamee raajaa karo asvaareeyaajee..................12

Come o my fellow brethren and believers. This 'geenaan'
(Divine knowledge and wisdom) is taught by Peer Sadardeen.
The True Lord and the Master, mount the horse (to protect the momins).
