ABIDJAN. According to the newspaper Fraternite-Matin of Abidjan, Mr Henri Konan Bedie, president of Ivory Coast met H.H. The Aga Khan during his trip to Europe and invited him to come to his country and discuss the possibility to accelerate the development in Western Africa (namely Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger and Senegal) where the Aga Khan Development Network is established since several decades. Recently the IPS (Industrial Promotion Services) which is part of the AKFED, has become partner with the Sweedish-Swiss ABB in the biggest thermal electricity plant project of Ivory Coast.
